  • Ah, and for those interested: All our fleet projects will be open for every kind of outside contribution except XP and Fleet marks. Because we love you, and Mark Millar has suspicious relations with goats.
  • Found one, elsewhere! When the stream window shows, there's three options right smack dab in the midle of the screen. The third asks you to set a shortcut for...the stream service (why is it automatically on shift+s when it's not actually selected yet? Why is the person who coded that not facing a demotion to mop boy and a…
  • THANK YOU! I am sending you entire virtual gift baskets of whatever pastries, cheeses, wine or moonshine you might appreciate best right now. That thing's been bugging me for days. I think whoever thought of that keyboard shortcut for the stream service needs to sit in a corner with a dunce cap for a few years.
  • I see that I'm not making myself clear here... I am saying that the event is very much likely happening on the console versions of the game, but they (Cryptic/Arc News) did not specify that it would not be happening on the PC version when they advertised it this Wednesday.
  • Yeah, but it'd be nice if they pointed out the event is on console, is what I'm saying. Because right now that's what it looks like.
  • I'm actually wondering if it's a platform-specific event that they just plain forgot to mention was so. Like, "This event only applies to the Playbox One4" or whatever. In other words, just copy-pasting the usual text and forgetting to add some vital details... Edit: I'm saying this because I've had characters visit both…
  • Yeah. Telling those of us who can't find the damn things that "It's totally easy!" is like lottery winners telling us the odds are great, at least for some of the probes. Not to mention that they're kinda bugged, too, because sometimes they don't spawn at all, or spawn long after they're supposed to (or long before). Some…
  • So far, the Cryptic peeps haven't even acknowledged that the Temporal Probe thing is bugged and broken, so I doubt they'll fix it. It's more important to fix multiplayer maps or costume options, it seems.
  • So, Shadow Play. I love that every hint online is "You can't miss it!"...and there's not even a single hint of a damn TP there. It's a space map, a huge one, the last one (meaning if I give up I have to replay the entire loooooong mission again and again and again and again until the goddamn thing spawns properly) and no…
  • Hey, gotta ask, y'know? And no offense, you're probably right, but I'd rather hear official word from a Cryptic rep. :)
  • Unfortunately, on the times when a map hasn't spawned a probe, there's no white dot (I know this because I have experienced it) either.
  • It's not just random, it's actually bugged. Sometimes the probe doesn't appear at all on the map, and sometimes the mission objective doesn't trigger, sometimes etcetera etcetera.
  • Yeah, the Temporal Probes are borked. In the eternal words of Tim Russ before he became Tuvok: "We ain't found TRIBBLE!" Devs? Next time you implement something like this, test it first. It's what the test servers are for. The way this looks, it looks like you gave the job of putting them in to a bunch of Pakleds.
  • On P'Jem, the Probe was so far from the mission path it took me half an hour to find it. And that was by coincidence. In Researcher Rescue, there wasn't a Temporal probe mission objective on any of the maps, and didn't seem to be any to begin with. Hate to say it guys, but your Temporal Probes are somewhat bugged. And even…
  • Finally found mine, which was way out in the middle of nowhere, with no reason my character would have ever gone near it except for the fact I was looking for it. The minigame is basically just trial and error until you get it right, so that's no biggie, but the fact it wanders around and is different for each captain…
  • I like it. And I loved Drexler's NX-refit design too (it was intented for a 5th season of Enterprise that never happened), which was basically the NX-class merged with the Constitution-class. And let's all remember that the original Enterprise looked a lot like two paper plates hooked up to a motorcycle light and two…
  • Could those who have found it tell those of us who can't where it's supposed to be? Because vague "Over by that house, somewhere"-type descriptions doesn't really help on a cluttered map like P'Jem with all the dang jungle.
  • A better thing than moving it (unless it really is bugged) would be to have it show up properly on scans, like crates and anomalies do. Because that thing is very well-hidden if not. Edit: At this point, I'm just waiting until after today's patch/maintenance, see if that helps. To be honest, hiding it is fine as long as…
  • I personally suspect the Iconians. Or the Na'kuhl. Time travel or Iconians. :) More seriously, it's not a huge issue (the whole "Taurean Affair resets to start when finished" bug is way worse), but it is an amusing tailor bug.
  • BOFF Tellarites are still freakishly tall, BTW. Something is definitely borked with the tailor... In Journey to Babel, they were mostly played by small persons, same when they were in the background in ST:IV, and the actors playing them on Enterprise were pretty short, so... And in the game they're now in the ranges of 6…
  • Same issue here, as late as 8 hours ago. If they go live with this bug still in... *grabs bucket of popcorn*
  • BOFF Tellarites are still freakishly tall, BTW. Something is definitely borked with the tailor...
  • Game keeps crashing when my TOS human Tactical beams from the surface of Regulus to orbital space in the final portion of the Kuvah'Magh episode. Always at the same part, when the space section has loaded to about 40-45%. Doesn't happen to other characters (checked), so it might be something with the TOS ones.
  • The scan function worked for me, though the graphics effects are much more simplistic (intentional, I suppose). Tractor beams actually had new graphics and sound effects! The BOFF bug is worse than we think, it's not that a TOS character can't assign BOFFs, they just can't assign 23rd century BOFFS. The 25th century ones…
  • Okay! New patch, fresh new bugs! Tellarites are now among the tallest species of the Federation, ranging from 5'11 to 7 ft tall. While the Tellarites are overjoyed at this mutation since that means they finally don't have to ask Vulcans, humans or Andorians to take stuff down from the higher shelves for them.…
  • He means stuff like kit reward packs (like the ones you get as mission rewards). I can verify that, my "Career specific kit reward" refuses to unpack and is just a box of dead weight in my inventory.
  • I can verify that this is still an issue.
  • I can verify this bug, playing a Human Eng TOS character, the repair area does not trigger.
  • I can verify this, on an engineering character. Human Engineering TOS Starfleet character, option to talk to Captain Thelin not appearing. Edited to add: I stood around and waited for a while, and suddenly it appeared. So the trigger exists, there's just something wonky with the timing.
  • You guys actually get in the queue for it? How? Every time I try, I get the response "the door is locked" and that's the end of that.
