well personally I don't use ARC, only to claim free keys or to use Force Verify otherwise I use Steam. A few years ago people on the DPS League Discord warned me not to use it. Steam works fine for me and most of the old DPS/PvP players just have the STO EXE file linked to their desktop which is highly recommended.
