This is a Centurion Character playing in the Romulan story arc, you can get the mission "Neutral No More" and talk to the ship requisitions officer. Confirmed with current character that by clicking on every dialog possible does allow mission to progress! *BUMP*

I was having the issue when trying to customize the ship in Ship Tailor. I could not save bridge or even paint scheme that i wanted. I can confirmed that I had use work around and it fixed the issue without any problems.

One way I save a reinstall is by going to the folder the game is saved and deleted all the files. With jennyluve idea, I went after programs that could affect my problem. I found that my Asus MB comes with a program called Network IControl. Update: My system can load STO but when I get to the load screen, it get hangs at 90%. It eventually loads the game. This is were it really messed up.
