I doubt this will make a noticeable effect on Star Trek Online. SWTOR is lacking in too many more areas than this game is to ever draw back the audience it could have had.
The Avenger doesn't really seem like a threat just yet. I'm not too miffed about it, and I look forward to having one more slowpoke cruiser to gun down.
Let's also not forget special traits like Inspirational Leader and Wing Commander, the latter of which is near-invaluable to anyone using hangar pets and the former of which is applicable to just about any build- 10% chance to boost ALL ship skills by +10 on use of any bridge officer power.
I hate to be 'that guy', but I thought we supposedly refit these ships to be habitable? Only replacing environmental controls for the primary bridge chamber seems... shortsighted of Starfleet/the KDF. ;) How do my repair teams get any work done? How do my fighter pilots get to the flight decks? Where do we go to sleep? Is…
You're joking, right? Too goody goody? Starfleet practically acts more like Klingons than the actual Klingon faction does at times. I've oft wondered if secretly the Federation in STO has been taken over by Terran Empire stragglers.
I've seen quite a few excellent Foundry missions with versions for both sides. I feel that if they are going to hype up a player-written mission as an 'FE', they should have picked a mission that had a version from the opposite side's perspective as well. Don't get me wrong- Purity looks like a very well done mission. It's…
You've missed my point, I think. I'm not disappointed over the fact someone made a Federation-only Foundry mission- I'm disappointed that 'Featured Episode' status is being given to a Federation-only Foundry mission. Until now the FE label has referred to content available to both sides.
While I am sure this mission is excellent, I'll never know firsthand. Calling something only available to one side an 'FE' is a little deceiving. Would have been nice if the player-made Featured Episode series had been something everyone could enjoy, not just the blue team.
I still don't get why people find this sort of thing offensive or why anyone decided to devote so much of their own time to 'countering' it. So a real world couple wants to play around with the idea of an in-game wedding. Don't like it? Don't show up. What harm does it do to you if they want to play this way, even if it is…
False, and rather dumb to say. The person you quoted is right- Many reptilian species in the real world have females who possess stronger characteristics than the males.
How about you fix the current costume slot bug that many Romulan players are having before trying to sell us more of them, huh? I LOVE costumes. My Feddie has tons of extra slots and even my Klingon has a respectable number. But I will not be investing any money into more costumes for my Romulan when I have no guarantee…
It makes no sense at all to give the Atrox Defiant-class pets, as the above poster has made clear. However... +1 for Caitian frigates. That sounds like a neat idea that I could totally support.
The Romulan missions are possibly the best story content Cryptic has released thus far. I love how they've recaptured my interest and drawn me back to the game- Last time I was into STO was back when Featured Episodes were a weekly concept.
I purchased the Legacy pack, and have not regretted it for a second. Legacy of Romulus impressed me in the closed beta stage, and it continues to impress me now as the bugs are worked out.
