  • That was my thought too. Even if they knew about the Federation, it seems like they didn't make assimilating it a priority until Q got involved. Plus, since Voyager wasn't around to help them deal with 8472, that war may have ended up doing so much damage that the Borg are still recovering in the Delta Quadrant.
  • Note to self: never act bossy toward weylandjuarez! :P
  • Time travel always gets weird when you have different rules bouncing around the same franchise, but I think the implication is that Tasha Yar going back was already a part of the 29th century's history (and maybe T'Nae was too, unless she got yanked off the ship separately), but your presence wasn't. Since they knew that…
  • Agreed, that was a great mission! The Enterprise-C, the Tholians, the Dominion, the 29th century timeship, there were so many details that show how deeply the writers know and care about Trek, and how smoothly they tied it all together into one story. I don't know how they squeezed what felt like a two-part finale's worth…
  • It's happening to me too now on Firefox, and it was working fine last month. Refreshing the page just eventually gives the same error message, or a "connection timed out" message. Edit: It's back up again ...kinda. It let me log in, but it's now "under maintenance."
  • First Officer Corspa: "Sir, we've traveled back in time to the early 21st century. And apparently a secret cult of writers is trying to change history by selling our adventures as fiction. I suspect agents of the Temporal Cold War, or maybe those weird life-stealing Victorian aliens who blew off Data's head." Captain Azera…
  • In my mind, "Demons" and "Terra Prime" are the series finale. Enterprise just followed up its awesome finale with a weird epilogue about Riker and Troi playing around on the holodeck, that's all. :D There's too many for me to pick, and they'd be the usual choices like "The Inner Light," "City on the Edge of Forever" and…
  • The USS Roanoke. There's a couple of layers of meaning, from the Roanoke colony being one of my favorite local legends, to a lost colony also being part of my character's backstory, to it being a nod to the Cabal's history as Roanoke colonists in City of Heroes and an homage to my Cabal heroine there.
  • I ran into the same problem when I joined too. If either the first, middle or last name is less than three letters long, it'll say "character creation failed" with no other explanation. If that's the case, either expand the one or two letter name or just remove it completely: you don't have to use all three fields.
  • This is neat! It works on Firefox and everything seems to be accurate, except that no traits are listed for the character (she's a custom alien, so the traits would be specific to her). Also, that is one blech character profile pic, but none of my real-life ID pics have ever looked any better so I guess that's true to…
  • Still the same problem and as a CoH refugee, being able to write and display my character's background was a big part of why I installed the game in the first place. This might not affect the gameplay, but it's about as basic a problem as it gets, and seeing all these other threads about more serious bugs that have lasted…
  • Same thing's happening to me too. The very first player I click after logging on might have their info, but everyone after that's blank save for HP and location. Since being able to write and read character bios was a big selling point for me, I've had to put the game on hold until it's resolved. :(
