I can confirm this issue. It's happened to me as well. I'm running an RTX 3090 with the latest drivers. It also happened six months ago or so when I started playing the game.

They need to update the models for the base Starfleet weapons. They are looking pretty dated at this point. It's also baffling just how few canon Starfleet ground weapons we have in the game. You don't have access to the TNG era dustbuster or the later Type II phasers. We don't have the Nemesis boomerang phasers. We don't…
