Oddly enough plasma weapons seem to only be on Player starships, every NPC Romulan ship I've seen seems to still use disruptors. Edit: and when I say every NPC Romulan ship uses disruptors, I include the RR.

As part of the eventual move of the Romulans towards being a full Faction, I'd like to see story arc dealing with the remnants of the RSE, even with Sela gone and the Tal Shiar on the ropes, there's still the Senate on Rator III (if Sela hasn't abolished it, but her traditionalist image makes that unlikely) and the planets…
