  • How about recommended ship configuration for missions? I think we have that for Duty Officers
  • I know it would be an absolute pain in legal terms but I would love to have STO crossover with Star Wars. I see it clearly, in my mind, B1 droids or stormtroopers are ensign level enemies and Inquisitors and Vader are captain level ground enemies. And we all know how Star Wars ships would scale in space. A Star Destroyer…
  • I think I kind of solved it. I tried launching the game through the .exe it asked me to login again, I did and it worked. Try that then log back in and it should work.
  • I think using defiants or Texas-class ships as alternate wingman mechanic ships would be better. Can they sell a token for maybe just the larger ships to have them as escorts? A Galaxy-class with a pair of Defiant escorts would hit like a truck.
  • I think the only real solution to this is to significantly buff the V-Rex. It should have at least a couple million hitpoints if it doesn't already. I mean the map is designed for about 20 players spread over three main areas? If there's an even number of players in each area thats 6-7 players per area. More often than not…
  • If putting a normal or fleet console in an extra slot doest add anything to the build put a clicky console in the extra slot. The point defense console from the T3 Akira (if you have it) or The tholian web generator or Akar's Vengence console. There are hundreds of options even mission consoles.
  • I've actually been enjoying guillotine even with players that can vape everything in sight with a cough. I think in that mission, there are enough enemies to go around that everyone can shoot at something.
  • The mission was good IMO, the only thing that really bothered me was Kim acting like he never lost crewmembers before. From the voice lines one might think the Inyua was his first command. He's a veteran of Delta Rising, Iconian War, Tzenkethi war, Hur'q war, temporal wars, and the more recent conflicts with the terrans…
  • If its too easy in a queue try doing it solo. You can queue up a solo run in the private tab. I do it with Borg TFOs all the time. (Although admitadly on normal, I tried advanced once and kept getting one shotted by the pickles.) I tried the Arena alone once, went down a bunch of times but managed to get through it.
  • This was the answer I was looking for. But my suggestion would be to just add a small notification for previously upgraded ships. Maybe just an addition in the description when the condition of an upgrade is met. "An upgrade has been applied to this class of ship." Or maybe just a new filter.
  • Right but is there a way to tell if a ship will come T6-X? if not could it be added?
  • I wanted a way to determine which ships I've already applied an upgrade to. T6 ships come upgraded if you've already upgraded them on another character. So if I upgrade a T6 Defiant to T6-X on character 1, on Character 2 I can claim the same ship and it comes upgraded already. I'm talking about T6-X ships specifically. Is…
  • I played that as a tac not long ago I think its still bugged. Does it just say "no tac training" for everyone?
  • This is what's odd though, in Age of Discovery patrols like Rescue and Search I'm consistently getting 100+ xp from Birds of Prey, 400+ for Sech cruisers and 600+ for battleships. But in Jupiter Gaunlet and Bringer of War the rewards are very small even for high-level characters.
  • It just seems so low now, I used to be able to level a character to captain in about an hour now its a grind to get to Commander.
  • For ground energy damage if I have multiple types or don't have a character that uses a particular type the cyclic modulation weapons are good. I use Jupiter Station Showdown for that. In regards to that mission BTW are the Borg supposed to adapt in that patrol or not? because they haven't been.
  • I agree about the crafting system. I have tons and tons and tons of R&D mats that I don't use. I'd love to donate them to my fleet but only a few missions take them. I'd love to be able to donate them in place of other resources, energy credits or duty officers. Maybe not dilithium (although it would be nice!) as that…
  • I started a solo fleet last year. All of my holdings are at tier 2, I'm close to tier 3 on the starbase. It helps if you have the rewards from the special recruits. Lots of fleet dil to be had. 40K per character and they only have to get up to Captain rank to claim. I also do Klingon Admiralty on a number of characters.
  • The game launches fine for me. However, I'm having issues playing "Quark's Lucky Seven." It just keeps crashing while loading the first map.
  • Nice try, although I really wanted my Mon Calamari Command Cruiser. It would have to have ten weapon slots and twenty consoles. The trait could be "Wary of Traps," which gives perfect perception and detects all cloaked ships within the map. A Star Wars-themed bundle would make a great April Fool's joke.
  • Maybe they can group these patrols by enemy species or location. If by location it could go, Alpha Quadrant enemies: Cardassian, Breen, Tzenkethi ect. Beta Quadrant: Klingon Rebels, Mo'Kai Klingons, Gorn, Orion, Romulan Empire, Terrans, Delta Quadrant: Borg, Hazari, Heriarchy, Vaadwar, Species 8472 Gamma Quadrant: Hur'q,…
  • I never go into DSEs, I think they should just be repurposed as patrols.
  • Add a vender to let us buy Fleet and Rep dil with GPL or some kind of conversion. That would give it a pertinant use without affecting the Dil/ZenEX. Or let us convert it back to energy credits by playing dabo and betting GPL.
  • I'd love to do a cruiser cannon build. I tried a full turret build once, it was ok. If they do change single cannons around to where they are more usable I would also suggest lowing the skills Cannon Rapid Fire and Scatter volley to ensign and lieutenant levels as many cruisers don't have higher than LTCMDR Tactical slots.
  • I have a thought. Maybe take the most popular product that takes dilithium (Phoenix boxes for example) and increase or decrease the price to keep the market stable. Like the Federal Reserve is supposed to do with interest rates to try and control inflation. This will bleed off dilithium from the exchange and drop the price…
  • Did I miss something? There weren't any patch notes yesterday.
  • Ok, as I understand the situation, there is too much dilithium and not enough Zen on the exchange. So I suggest creating an exchange-only dil and restricting it to a few sources (Missions, Battlezones etc). This will limit the supply of exchangeable dil on the market and allow it to recover. With that change, you can…
  • I'm pretty sure some TFOs already have a damage threshold. I think Crystalline Catastrophe does. There is also a threshold for getting skill and experience point credit per enemy. The threshold doesn't have to be super high, just enough to say you've done something. It's already frustrating to be in a PUG with someone who…
  • I see more than one thread about solutions to the dilithium exchange. I recently watched a video from CasualSAB where he discusses various issues affecting the dilithium exchange. Armed with that information, I propose the following: 1. Restrict sources of what I call "Tradable Dilithium" or "Pure Dilithium" (Dilithium…
