I think depending on your ship and items, it may be possible to survive. Some buffs makes you immune to damage for a short time (eg. Aegis set).

Thanks everyone!! I think i will not create new character right now as i still have lots of reputation yet to do. I yet to do temporal missions story as well. So lots of new contents to keeep me busy for quite some time!!

No, I actually prefer more players. Its more fun to have more ships.

If its going to be very difficult, they should have more players instead of just 5.

I don't have a totally buff up ship as I just hit lvl 50. I also don't have access to a level 5 ship yard so not fleet ships for me. But what I can say is it its current impossible to beat the mission even in normal mode. I tried it 4 times in normal and 3 times in elite. It doesn't make sense for me to try so many times…

I spend $100 yesterday..... :( Hopefully things will be fixed asap so I can carry on with the game. I just hit level 40 and happy to get a new ship and wanted to play with it. Now, I can't.... This sucks.

This is bad.....really really bad from cryptic..... The is the game with the most server disasters I have ever played in my life. I wonder if there is any proper testing done before they patch the software? Nothing is worse than inability to login to play the game.

Everything seems ridiculously slow..... Forum is laggy, game takes a long time to connect and load list of characters.....

OK, this is bad..... I am current free silver player but going to get life membership when I get my salary at the end of the month. This is not looking good....... Maybe I should hold on till things stabilise.
