i like ground stf. But hate ground pvp. it are mostly tactical players killing others with 1 hit. I don't get why devs made such pvp, cause it is no pvp.

cannons are better than beams in this game. talking about beams being great at some situations is only daydreaming. It should be right as we dream, but is not. cannons are better.
I think Tachyon Beam 3 works fine, it is supposed to keep shields down, while your torps fly toward target (therefore it last 4 secs). You need an escort to lower its shields first ofc. Unfortunately if escort can destroy foes shield, it can then easily destroy hull too, which makes this skill not so important. With…
-1, too hard to make it fair there are situations, where healing is not so important as dps. dps escort can do more healing than healing cruis,sci (see it at pvp). if mob has 50k life, you need do only 50k dmg (+ modifications), but if you are not really good, you may need more healing than you'll do dmg. and my game…
a cruiser with dem3 can destroy me in less than 10 sec with full shields and 13% hull resists. i think this skill is woth try :-) i found this post while searching web for what to do against this skill, but it seems i must only learn to use scattering field at right time, cause i cant get more passive hull resist.
as sci/sci i'll take every dmg boost. my kits and auxiliary power can keep me alive and i lack dmg, but.. ..for pve i think the best are defensive skills for pvp atack skills
i like the new "drop" system. it is not based on luck, but after you decide what you want, you can make it yourself. everything is in your hands. There are fast ways to obtain dilithium, e.g. sb24.
i like this with sci+intrepid against one strong target (pvp, bosses) energy siphon 2 (or tachyon beam 3) + viral matrix 3 against multiple targets (most of pve except bosses) scramble sensors 2 + gravity well 3 for the rest take heals, tractor beam 1, photonic officer 1. tractor beam + tykens rift works nice too.
Playing intrepid with transphasics make more dmg than with other torpedo types. But in order to defeat enemy in pvp we dont need 800 000 dmg, but only 30 000 dmg well placed. If i make 800k dmg and never get ones hull under 50%, it is useless. Transphasic hull dps is easy to heal by crew only. I'd like to see faster reload…
well, what i wrote is true. it is strange to make new stuff when the old dont work good. therefore i replied here too. and it was doublesiphon interpid.
the best new thing in pvp for a change would be nerfing escorts and energy dmg. i play a half year and this is still without change, too op. i dont see why.
