Hey with the release of shiny brand new T6 Jem'Hadar Attack ship, it's pretty clear what their actual stance is in regards to new ships. So they should just take the the Hegh'Ta Heavy BoP model, slap the T6 tittle on it and buff it to be just nearly as powerful as the new bug, with regards to it's battle-cloak (or not,…
I stopped taking this game seriously forever ago. To save yourselves pain I suggest people do the same. I gave up long ago on the idea of a good Star Trek MMORPG. I now only play STO solely to RP and get immersed into some version of Star Trek and try really hard to ignore the many things that drive me up the wall. Like…
The design should be something fun, like a being slightly influenced by Orion or Nausicaan design with it still being mainly Klingon. Supposed to be a big empire now, lots of influential races. Lets see some of that. I want something between http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Orion_interceptor and…
I imagine that particular fix took all of 5 minutes. I like pvp, I'd say almost love it. But lets admit it, PvP balance takes a lot of work, both actual work and theory crafting. And no developer for any game has ever got it perfect. And there are a lot of legitimate bugs to fix.
Yeah I'd go with darkdog's suggestions. There really isn't any use for the torpedoes unless your going for a set or use the awesome new Neutronic torpedo with torpedo spread if you really want a torpedo (which I understand). I'd also try to fit in surgical strikes 3 and override subsystem safeties 3. As an engineer you'll…
Yeah, unless your intent is to only tank, use a tactical ship. So Mat'ha raptor or some other lockbox escort type ship. You can probably pull off a Fleet Mogh or Qib battlecruiser with dual heavy cannons or dual beam banks.
Did anyone bother to warn him about the massive power gap between new and veteran/established players at end game? Or were you just going to let him learn the hard way when he got into the lvl 50-60 Ker'rat and queues?
You misunderstand me, I find it all very entertaining. So putting it all in one place will make it easier to read it all. As Data might say, "It's all very fascinating".
We need to sticky this at the top, /sarcasm on/ CAUSE EVERYTHING IS DOOOOMMMMMEEEEDDDD. TAU DEWA IS DEAD, THE SPEC POINTS ROLLED BACK, THE END IS NIGH!!!!!! COMFORT YOUR LOVED ONES OR GRANT THEM A MERCIFUL DEATH CAUSE DOOOOMMMM IS UPON US!!!!!
Except it wasn't hard-earned, the expansion has been out for little over a week. Working on a Master's Degree in a university is hard work, getting your credits being put towards a degree rolled back is something to rage about. But all you've lost is several hours worth of time. And the game is going nowhere, so you have…
I did it! Its slow going, but hey, I got time. I could throw money at it... but then what would I do when I'm done? Besides, your talking like your expectations are for a subscription based game. It was a sub based game. It didn't work. Of course at the time STO was much less of a game than it is right now.
I fail to see how this is a cash grab. In any other mmo game the ability to level up and make significantly more gains off lower level content than the new harder and higher level content from an expansion would be an issue. I really don't see how their milking people for money, at least not in the bad way you seem to be…
Its not like you can't get more specialization points and it hasn't been that long since the expansion released. You obviously enjoy the hardcore grinding for stuff since that was the first and only thing some of you seemed to want to do since the expansion came out. Cause that's why you play this game right? To enjoy…
Geez the arrogance of you people. I didn't say I wanted a whole remastered pvp. I wasn't asking for perfect balance passes made on all abilities. I wasn't disagreeing with the OP. I only mentioned it would be better with Kerrat fixed. I don't know how much more selfish, egotistical, and self-righteous you can be.
I made the mistake of mentioning Kerrat in some random general discussion thread. I forgot about the amount of scrubs with distasteful views of pvp and feel the need to rage about it whenever it's mentioned.
I'll stick to the ideal that has been repeated over and over again... why would you want to pilot a ship that is not your faction for all the obvious reasons? Like you don't see the U.S. using Russian T-90 MBTs.
Feds get 5 ships, 2 of which are of classic fed design (or at least canon) and complain. KDF get 2 ships, one of which is of classic kdf design and rejoice.
Guess it was too exploitable, kind of expected. I'f people have already filled out their specialization points and were making dilithium then there was definitely a problem.
Its also about all the ner-... certain individuals needing to get all their specializations filled completely right now. And now their mad that the Devs removed their stupidly easy way of doing it cause the Devs deemed it was too easy and faster than they intended/wanted. Despite the fact there are other ways to grind…
