The Recluse can do 14-15k without too much trouble. My science captain does 18.6 with it and there is room for optimization. I haven't played all that much with the breen ship, but I can probably make around 12k with that same science captain.

I would use a jem'hadar dreadnought for my tac. I have the Recluse on my sci with 20-21k build, but I'm not sure about putting my tac in it. It is probably the most versatile ship, and is the one I prefer to go with in HSE. Still, IMO for a tac - the Jem'nought.

If I see 3 people going at a singe cube and no one is on my side, I ignore the probes and go for the far cube. Why? More like a character based - I have it on 2 of the 3 I play regularly. The APBs stack on spheres, large structures and tactical cubes (regulars don't live long enough anyway to see if it stacks).

This may sound silly, but since S8 and the APB bug, I have no reason to play with my main science char in the borg space STFs. Completing the old 3 STFs and have 47 minutes on CD of the first one in usually sub-par teams? No problem - no challenge either. I measured that 26 seconds is the time I need to single-handedly…

Tested on 2 of my chars - I get plasma fires from non-shooting targets (transformers) and the enemy is buffed with my leech. This is a major screwup. At least I'm not shutting myself down with my phased polarons.

Hey, long time no see :) Care to join me for a STF? Actually, my opinion differs a little - I would blame the fleets, whose members are not up to the task. They should help their recruits that are new to STO or old players that haven't payed attention to their overall contribution in team content and want to improve.

Quite true. I have a FMVAE that I hadn't flown it a very, very long time. My science captain did around 8k DPS then (Jan-Feb 2013). I took it out for a spin the other day and parsed the result. I was astonished when I saw close to 11k DPS in the parser. And it was with a CRF setup, not my usual CSV.

Take into account that the cd of each EPtX is 45 seconds (and a global of 15 seconds). If you put 2 Damage control engineers, when they trigger, they reduce the CD from 45 to 30 seconds on the already activated EPtX. And honestly, I don't see any benefit from using 2 EPtS - I usually run EPtS and EPtW with both being up…

Now HSE is kind of OK compared to what it used to be, but still it's something I don't usually PuG. In fleet runs, we do it regularly atm, but still, I'm switching to a PvP setup for it and if I die just once or twice, all is good.

Best in what? I'm not sure there is a best all-round pet. Most of them are best at a specific aspect. highest DPS and burst damage - elite scorps best CC - yellowstone runabouts best team tactical support - elite mesh weavers and so on.....
