That is really encouraging that you have found a work around for you. But at what lvl do you get access to a shuttle? I'm currently lvl 25 and no ships I can use can support a shuttle to the best of my knowledge. Good to know that one day I might have a workaround though. Regards, Rhynoch

Greetings All, I am also experiencing the inability to asign Bridge officers however it is only on new ships. I just hit lvl 20 and got my new ship and the event ship and am unable to use Bridge Officers on either however I can use them on my lvl 10 ship just fine.
