Speaking for myself, I think "playable Romulans" is missing a trick. STO had the Klingons brought in too quickly and look what happened. While they've now got Perfect World's backing that doesn't mean that the Romulans will land fully complete and ready to roll.

Not if when the project launches cryptic take a snapshot of the number of members in the fleet which is used for the math, i.e. the cost is based upon the number of fleet members in the fleet at the time the item in question is available.

I have this issue and it's ridiculously annoying. I've lost count of the number of times it's lead to logging in being bungled because I forget that STO is changing the username to the wrong name. Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem having been forced to change to a perfect world account and no longer being able to have the same username (for reasons best known to Perfect World/Cryptic).
