I don't think that'll be too hard. Avoid shoehorning the original enterprise crew into every quest regardless of whether or not their presence makes sense and you're halfway there in my book.

I would agree with that assessment. Most particularly since the Delta plotline disappointingly was little more than a cameo fest. shoehorning in as many ways as possible for you to interact with the old crew of Voyager, and making nods to as many VOY episodes as possible, rather than crafting a new and interesting story…
