• I can confirm that I am also having this problem. Nothing has changed on my computer, except for the STO patch on the 27/10. AMD Radeon HD 6750.

• I too have fallen victim to this spammer. Warned players in zone that this character was not who they claimed to be and to watch out, then was bombarded with various invites. Seem to have stopped for a while, but we'll see. If this stops, I may reconsider my decision to not go lifetime.
