Neverwinter has had the same problem longer. The last time I looked the backlog was over 70 million (@750 astral diamonds/zen) with a wait time to fill of about 3 months on PC. They do not think it is a problem.

How about this for fun. Just the other day I made changes to my equipped ship, clicked the loadouts tab, clicked save loadout, consoles are unequipped and traits turned off. Twice! WTF? The trait and doff systems have been broken for years.
