Thanks guys, I was missing a dot. Got rid of the nonsense ships now. Will have to source a nice science ship now for admiralty missions.

Thanks a lot guys. I bought a 10 pack of master keys, flogged a few of them and decked my ships out, been rocking some PVE queues for a bit. I really should continue with the episodes and at least make a stab at completing the game at least up until the later episodes.

If you are quite skilled and cunning and know your ship and when and how to run away, then I would go with a build totally focused on dishing out as much damage as possible in your frontal arc. Just build the thing how you feel it should be built, the way you want to play. I find cannons make for more involved play, but there is a lot to be said for the ice-berg like floating around with beams appearing from every angle as you soak up damage.

I am all for the idea of a big, massive even, battle-sponge of a ship but in my mind, the Oddy and Venture/Galaxy-X are already battleships of a sort. You can't have a Dreadnought cruiser, the term in naval circles at least, seems a bit oxymoronic to me. Only thing I don't like is that the Typhoon looks a bit nerf.…

I know how complex and detailed the in game's stat system can be, but I try not to let any of that get in the way of my enjoyment of the game. I basically build however the heck I want and play how I want. Might not be canon or true to life or give the ultimate MMO build etc.
