If you really think that anyone is "making" you do anything in this game, then you obviously lack any imagination and are probably a little stupid. You've willingly handed this game over to other people, and sacrificed your enjoyment for not much more than the right to continually whine and complain on the forums.

Just curious...do you actually play the game or just post on the forums? Engineering proficiency is a ground skill for engineers and is level II for a level 50 character.

Frankly, I think the real problem here is the Foundry elite who think they own the tool and need to control the content. It's a game. Whatever is fun is great. I've played this mission a number of times, and I still enjoy it.

If you want help starting your own fleet or need a few extra people to help out, I started a chat channel called "FleetofOne" just for that purpose -- if there are people on who have a moment to help, they will. I've seen a bunch of fleets formed that way. And I always have an unfleeted alt ready to contribute.

Very well said. But this thread isn't really about logic or reasoning. It's an opportunity for some people to complain about Cryptic and the game. Same old, same old in other words, at least from some people.

I absolutely agree that they don't need to be mutually exclusive, and in a perfect world, story content would also come with great rewards. I am puzzled over the extent to which so many people seem (and this may or may not be an accurate impression) to value the rewards over the story. It feels very backwards to me.

We've got 7 people signed up for FleetofOne now. It's a modest start, but it's a start. If you have any interest in starting a fleet of your own or need one, two, or three more people to stand in (and then leave after), subscribe. Once we have a large enough population, it should be easy to find help.

I'm totally happy to change the name. Don't mean to step on any toes. I guess I've just watched too many commercials for the US Army. :) As an aside, I do plan to keep one character aside and permanently unfleeted so that I can always help others form a fleet.
