That's nice but there aren't any more desirable mods to reengineer to as long as the restrictions on the number of [EPG] and [CtrlX] mods are on it. There's no reason this deflector shouldn't be able to get [EPG]x4 or [CtrlX]x4 like the Bajor Defense deflector.

I understand you don't want these consoles to buff weapon damage but can you increase the damage bonus duration from 30 to 60 seconds as compensation? I think you fell for a red herring. It was already possible to stack 2 disruptor set bonuses in space even when the 8472 rep first came out (8472 + silent enemy). We did get the particle emission plasma torpedo though. Huge thank you to whoever made that - it's the only reason I even bother with crafting.

I have to agree it's intended. Episodes feature both space and ground content and it's up to individual players to decide how much they want to split up their ground/space traits and what to maximize.
