I'm a Mac user (late 2012 IMac - NVIDIA GeForce GT650 M 512mg) and am up and running. You guys might want to check the PlayOnMac forums (Application Tests>Star Trek Online) Someone came up with a registry hack that is allowing Mac users back in the game. It may prove helpful.
if I read the information on the winehq site correctly, version 2.0 is the first real implementation of DX11. At this point it is only partial. Anyone else have a different take?

Same issue with PlayOnMac. Don't even get past the Cryptic loading screen. From perusing the forum, looks like there are several issues with the update.
Fussed with WINE for a while last week and couldn't get STO to install and work. Downloaded PlayonMac. Loaded Steam through PlayOn Mac and installed the Windows version of STO through Steam. STO fired right up but took 3 hours to download and install all the patches. Logged in and it sat at the New Dawn screen for 20+…
