i do like the idea of "commando mode" or some such.. like perhaps you could have "modes" you set for certain stuff. On that note, perhaps a "storage" bin full of equipment you pay for, specifically holding only ship equipment, then you could have a "load out", and perhaps a timer, like 60 seconds, and you click the load…

I said "your character isn't a psychic... they are a SPACESHIP!" this silliness was brought on by a listing of the powers they used: Wormhole, Inertial Bubble, Antigravity Motion, Telekinetic…
Star Trek Picard is a good illustration of how Star Trek is multiple genres, while the newer Star Wars stuff is an illustration of how it (SW) is a genre transforming. Picard is part of the Next Generation mood and setting of classical space opera, while Discovery was a radical departure and more like a combat action…
Speaking of tabs by ship type, how about when you go to buy a ship, you have a "sort by currency" drop bar? Sifting through fleet, dilithium, and promotion rank ships vs. Zen. this could benefit Zen people as well who only want to spend that currency.
how about a holodeck costume store with "functional" replicator options? Then bows, crossbows, and diamond shooting bamboo cannons (maybe not) would be possible. But Napoleon cannons would be kinda neat.
