To be honest, I think that fact that Sela gets a bit of a reality check and see what her actions have wrought. To be fair though, it may be seen as a fixed point in time, as The Doctor would say. Speaking of which, I'm going to definitely play this mission on my Doctor Who-inspired Alt. Heck, in some of the Doctor Who…
As mentioned in my signature, USS Canada "A Mari Usque Ad Mare"- "From Sea to Sea" The National Motto of Canada, taken from Psalm 72:8: "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth" Also USS Nova Scotia "Munit haec et altera vincit"- "One defends and the other conquers"
Erm, you might want to be careful serving that to Liberated Borg Captains or any visiting Kadis. http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Synthehol On a related tangent, bah Humbug! Forcing good and hardworking enlisted and officers to survive on replicated fake booze. Another legacy of the Americans. If the British (and other…
I think what happened was Starfleet Intelligence got the upper hand over S31 thanks to Chakotay, who according to the In-Game Lore is head of ST Intel. Since he was on Voyager in the Delta Quadrant, he may have convinced Starfleet Command that they should take the lead on DQ, rather than let those slimy S31 goons have…
I say both sides are arseholes. Both factions are guilty of what 21st Century Earth would deem as genocide, or in this case xenocide. This all feels like the Eastern Front of WWII. And the battle of Kobali Prime might be the 25th Century equivalent of the Siege of Leningrad. The problem though is that the Vaadwaur have…
I think the added difficulty might be more acceptable if the Dilithium rewards were kept or slightly increased. At minimum: Normal queues (including Fleet Alert)- 480 dilithium Advanced queues- 720-980 dilithium Elite queues- 1440 dilthium Especially with elite, it should be seen as worth doing once or twice a day. Cryptic…
My main ship is standing by until I can return home to begin DR. -Warp Core, Shields, and Deflector all green light -All weapons systems are ready to go -MACO teams prepped and on stand by -Supplies and payload inspected, organized and stored Now awaiting orders to go through the Gateway.
I am curious as to the reason why the dilithium rewards have been reduced. Wasn't Advanced Queues supposed to be more or less the current Elite Queues (except all current optionals will become mandatory)? It seems odd that we will be getting significantly less rewards for harder PvP gameplay. Especially odd considering the…
I personally think a modern unit of soldiers, especially from top of the line armies, would make mincemeat of most Star Trek aliens, which would make all those away missions and ground battles too short for TV entertainment. Frankly, it seemed that Starfleet lost a lot of tactical and strategic concepts that were made in…
Interesting thoughts so far. So, for myself, when it comes to missions, I generally like to go do some roleplaying. For my main character, a Federation Tactical, I typically like use my Assault Cruiser Refit (as named in my signature). It is my main ship, though I do like to occasionally switch to others on PVE queues. For…
Perhaps we could hold a mini-contest for an Odyssey class MSD which may be implemented* on the Aquarius bridge. *subject to adjustments by Cryptic team.
Everyone make sure this does not get mentioned in the General discussion. I would love to see how those who haven't playedTribble will react to this really great twist.
A few bugs that keep popping up: -The hangar door on the Talaxian base may cause BOFFs to glitch into the door while opening. -The shield overlay of Vaadwaur ships do not correspond to actual shield strengths, as indicated on the target information window. Otherwise, I think its time for Vaadwaur hunting season..
Anybody notice that bridge. Aside from the LCARS, it's pretty darned close to the canon bridge. Now if only the STO Sovereign-class bridges looked a wee bit more like the Enterprise-E Bridge. ;)
My idea is that most of the current Sovereign class Starships are a much more advanced "Flight" than the original Sovereign-class (ie, USS Enterprise-E and USS Sovereign) In 40 years, may significant changes may have been made to the design and the on board systems to the point where the original ships are relegated to…
