As dismayed with all the nerfs to both science and torpedo builds, there is one thing that has been bugging me for a long, long time, and that is Go Down Fighting's ability to affect ALL Damage and not just the ships primary energy weapons/torpedos along with related skills. I don't really care if tactical captain's can…
Boo, still don't see: Resolved an issue which the Kar'Fi Carrier is invisible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yall added: Added a Ship Repair Officer and a Medical Treatment Officer to Starbase 39.... What about updating some of the Captain's Table with that stuff, a ship selector, security guy, duty officer personel contact?? It would…
Looks that way to me. My Ferengi and its Tuffli only existe to buy cheap commodities for the starbase. :( Oh and, that puts an slight damper on the KDF Doff missions that get alot of those commodities. Now they are basically just going to be low EC NPC Vender fodder. Totally do not agree with the progress being lost on…
I'd rather they just fly faster, both regular and destructible ones. Their speed was designed when the ships (player and npc) were much slower. Same goes with cannon shots.
HOLODECK Subspace Decompiler Skill: +0 Countermeasures Systems Skill: +0 TRIBBLE Control Expertise Skill: +176 (+277 in my torpedo boat/gravity well ship due to graviton generators) --- Note: Holodeck - Graviton Generators: +160 (+261 in my torpedo boat/gravity well ship) only 6 points (+84) in the skill This is after only…
Something needs to be done, and $5 a pop, or what ever the sale price is, is not the answer. Sure you can basically rebuild your current generalized build that works really good with all ship types, but with the new skills added you will be mediocre trying to make a build that lets you just around to all your different…
Might not be skills, but still should be addressed. Yes, the Terran rep added a thing to make destrucatble torpedoes fly faster, but its so small its laughable. All torpedoes, that means destructible ones too, need the speed increased. Everything in the game is faster than when they were designed. Cannons especially need…
I like some of the ideas. Carrier pilots do need some loving, beyond just these new skill tree option. I wish the pets AI could be vastly improved... like it was before DR when they actually avoided warp breaches and performed better. What I really wish they would do is take away the ship restrictions. If you own(ed) the…
Can it hit hard? Yes it can, near the end of its use after its applied all resistance debuffs. But, do you realize how much work it takes to be able to make that skill hit hard? It does not come out of the box hurting. To make just a few science skills be powerful you need to get specific equipment and upgrade it all.…
It is nice to see the tweaks. Sadly I didn't see anything about destabilizing resonance beam (hoping, but doubt, that's part of the 'scale off Auxiliary Power to gain the incorrect amount of benefit per point of Aux'), or exotic torpedoes, like the particle emissions one, being way off from Holodeck.
I am not pvp. I am pve. If you are trying to tell me that my Science captain using my Science hybrid Exotic/Beam build with 1 torpedo (Partgen based) with 407 partgens on holodeck and only 2 tactical consoles is not useful in pve... I highly beg to differ. http://i.imgur.com/C2rDvPX.jpg Not everything is about you doing…
Personally I have no issue with the plasmonic leech console being reduced in effectiveness... and yes I use it. Maybe not as much as it has been but it does need some lowering as it is a little too powerful as a console. However, Science drain abilities being basically cut in half on Tribble do need some serious attention…
Yeah, I really hope they fix (or un-nerf) the Particle emissions torpedo, so that partgens effect the cloud like its supposed to (and all other special torpedos that are effected by them like on holodeck). I mean it is a science torpedo afterall, not an embassy torpedo (yes those consoles are supposed to help it too). They…
I don't know if its an aux-scaling bug, a partgen bug, or strait up rebar to the teeth nerf, but Destabilizing Resonanace Beam and the plasma cloud of the Particle Emissions Torpedos took a huge hit. Replicating my skills as best as I could, and most things in the stats window of the ship were within a few points. I did…
All of this! Destabilizing Resonance Beam was taken out back and beat with a hunk of rebar. He is now in the hospital, missing teeth with a broken orbital bone and fractured skull. ATM Doctors don't think he will make it. Particle Emissions Torpedo plasma clouds were filled with argon gas as filler, the manufacturer is…
Except you now have one problem. If you spec into that to be competent/good in your Carrier at the potential it has... you just lost being competent in most of your other ships. And for $5 (or even the sale prices briefly) a pop to be able to go back to your other ships, its just not worth it. My newish Jupiter is now…
I have no problem with the power scaling being uniform. But, I guess most of the confusion comes from the patch notes that listed it being rescaled as I mentioned in the first place. Probably would have been less unclear if it had also been stated in those notes that it was done to make the power levels give the uniform…
I want to know why they are making each point of aux power over 100 weaker than each point under 100 when lots of science based gear is about getting more aux power, and the ability to get more than 125 max. I also really want to know why this is not being applied to other power levels.. ESPECIALLY Weapon power. Fair is…
You didn't read it then. You need 1: The console (FE Mission) 2: The torpedo (Anniversary ship) 3: Omni OR Turret (I think I don't use turret) (FE Mission) 4: Beam Array OR DHC You cannot just slap on all the energy weapons and get it. The set parts say what ones are required on the tool tip.
Yeah, I am confused why this is not listed as a known bug, as the tool tip says ignores shields but it does not. Unless the 'ignores shields' text on the tool tip is the bug... which should have been able to be fixed quickly, and makes the skill worthless if it is.
As the OP mentioned, the tooltip says it bypasses shields, which it does not. Tested it with my friend sitting in front of me in a PvP match with shields on and shields off, and looked at the log. I do hope it gets fixed. I sent I a bug report in game also.
They will tell you too bad just like they told me. Even though claiming it does not say character bound, and everything in that description talks about an account one time. I figured it was like everything else and account bound so I could put it in my account bank to put on the proper character, but as you know its not.
