It's more cannon for the Simmy to go with all single disruptor cannons. All you saw really was single disruptor bursts going everywhere, load up rapid cannon fire 3 and watch with glee.

Found the color paint problem fix, it worked for me if you click on template, Scimitar, it like sets it or something, allowing the paint variations to be dark/any color you want. Decked mine out with black Leo pattern :P

I agree with you! Yet the Republic is still young, with limited resources, its natural for them to lean on and use the allied faction's technology. I actually love using all single cannons and turrets. Why? Cuz it reminds me of the Scimitar and its butt-load of cannons. Fly that dreadnought at fully speed chasing after a ship, cannons blazing, makes me a happy camper. :D

It doesn't have much to do with canon for me, if this game was cannon, only true Trekkies would play it. On that note, i'd play it cuz I could live in it and be awesome! :D It's more of stating that the dread is something different, iPhone 5 vs Galaxy s3. Both are phone, yet both are made differently.

Ok, why are you whining? You just answered your OWN question lol. The Dread is NOT a fed carrier OR ship, therefore it has it's OWN set of rules. The Dominion do not build their ships like the feds, nor do they have the same technology. It has better turn rate, good for the Dominion, they made a carrier with a better turn…

I know it's not the usual setup, but i'm running beams, wide angle quan, and a quan mine on my breen ship for my engie. Works out awesome, can always broadside and torp mobs and then use my jemmy officer for both beta dispersal pattern 3 and torp spread 3.

Wait so the fleet assault is going to be t3 as well? But the patch notes said t5 Fleet Assault Cruiser Costs 20,000 Fleet Credits, 4 fleet ship modules, and 1 military requisition. Only 1 fleet ship module if you have purchased the Sovereign refit. Requires Shipyard tier 5.
