Q is here mainly to help us hit 200... We didn't manage to do it on the previous two threads regarding "unexpected interruptions to our daily discourse in ESD". Now that he's through punting Pakleds.

It has to do with years of being told the in-ter-webz's can give you what you want without waiting. If you've never seen it, watch the firestorm when an email system goes down from the users of any ISP or email service provider. Gaming is merely an extension of that.

Thanks, now I have an image of SB defense thats like listening to Shatner talk. in. the. original...series. As for the downtime, hey at least we got notice about it unlike the last two mornings.

Get a little experience in the game before you decide to pay for features. Joining in huge battles is easy, so long as you don't mind sitting around waiting for them on occasion. (Which is a risk for any major alliance, I should add.) And is Goonswarm still handing out free lobotomies? The last PR guy I met had graduated…

True and if memory serves, they also posted info on their datacenter. Including pics of the fried shard from the test server heheh. That being said, CCP runs their company quite differently. And probably more successfully, but history will prove that one in the long run.
