I was just the only person in an instance, and almost failed to defeat the giant snowman (and I would have failed if some more people hadn't shown up). Sure, he can be easily killed when the instance is full, but when there are few people, it gets a lot more difficult.

I'm having the exact same problem. http://sto.perfectworld.com/news/?p=928221 This specifically states that the new end time is Monday August 5th at 10AM PDT. Is that not correct?

I am in game now - at 12:15 PDT on Sunday, and it is no longer possible to get free pearls. So has the end time actually been moved, or not?

I am really enjoying this update. The variety of mission types in the System Patrol in Tau Dewa is very nice, and it was a fun little trip. And then I went to New Romulus. WOW! The area itself is visually beautiful. Having each region labeled on the map was very helpful. There were plenty of new and interesting things to…
