I still can't pick up the the mission at all. I know I'm not the only one that this applies to. Is there any plan to fix this bug, or are we going to be stonewalled until the event runs out and all the time, effort and Lobi crystal that I've invested is wasted.

After wasting 4 hours on lag, ESD space, and then dropping the mission only to faff about in Bajor Space, the mission disappeared from my active missions. I tried hailing to pick it up, but all Q offers me is the party game. There is no mention of the Omega mission at all. I am at a complete loss as to how so many things…
