This was a well-researched and incredibly helpful piece of work. I really appreciate your effort. If you PM or message me in-game (@labtinnion) then I've got some dilithium for you.
I think I may have noticed a pattern here. If you complete Tides of Ice and there are no snowmen left after the snow queen goes down, no one gets a reward. If there are snowmen left to kill, then it rewards after they're gone. I'll have to try it more both ways to see if this pattern holds up, but it seemed to work today.
I'm sick of this whole thing. I haven't been able to get past the Cryptic loading screen since the January 15 patch. Since then I've been able to do all the patches but still can't get past there. The error code it keeps giving me is 18265518. I have force verify off. I've tried turning the firewall off. I've done a…
What a great set of ideas, a simple solution for a complex set of problems. One of the drawbacks of the Foundry from a story perspective has always been the question of "Why would they call me for this?" In other words, why would I be getting an emergency hail for immediate help from a sector on the other end of explored…
Especially since it takes forever to complete a mission and get it just right in the first place. All I want is the ability just nudge things around my map.
I did the open beta test, and it worked fine with only minor issues that I reported. In fact, I can still access the Tribble server. The thing is, I can't play the the actual game on the Holodeck server at all. It constantly crashes as soon as it switches to the Cryptic loader.
Am I wrong, or does this imply that there are actually players in the game right now who are able to log in and play just fine? Right now it doesn't feel like "some players" are having these problems. It feels like 99.9% of all players are stuck out of the game. Maybe they should investigate why "some players" can actually…
I am so tired of this. I haven't been able to log in to the game once since LoR went live. I was really looking forward to this. It worked fine for me during open beta on the Tribble server.
I also noticed that they respawned very quickly, but I also discovered that I could walk right past most of them without even getting noticed. That may be part of the Romulan stealth trait. The flying ones were the only ones worth bothering to kill.
I noticed this same problem. I also noticed that there were weird artifacts that appeared during transitions. After the transition countdown, other parts of the set and NPC characters would appear for a second before it resolved to my character and location. I loved most of the new look and feel of the game and the…

I tried moving my heavy Mk XII disruptor build from my Breen ship over to my new Andorian escort. It didn't work nearly as all. I'm still pretty new at all this, but those escorts just feel to me like they're more geared for Phaser builds. That means that I need to go back to my Breen ship and save up for a heavy phaser…
All DOFF Assignments make sense.* Doctors actually fail at minor burns, stomach pain, and broken bones. * Holograms successfully tested thermal undergarments. * Scientists are INJURED analyzing data, because their consoles exploded. * Etc., ad nauseum...

Absolutely want to be a part of this, but I'm pretty much limited to Saturdays and Wednesdays. I'd love to do all of them. Let me know when you schedule another.
I live way up in the mountains. The only broadband here is satellite. That means that I'm stuck with a monthly bandwidth cap. I have more than enough speed, but a gigabyte download is a huge chunk of my monthly allotment gone in one day. Once I hit that, they throttle me down to near dialup.

I've got that same stupid built-in card in mine. Don't forget to factor in the price of a power supply if your current build has less than a 500W. I was thinking of getting a GeForce 9800GT as an upgrade, but I'm no expert.
Amen to that. It's certainly working well enough for Temporal Science Vessels. Here's an idea for all the whiners:* Add a snow plow to the winter vendor supply for some ridiculously huge sum. They can just run it over a snowball pile to get 1000 snowballs worth of hand digging.
I just run the race till I get the 40 autographed glossies, and then stand over a snowball pile hitting "f" for an hour. Come back tomorrow and repeat. I can't believe the number of people in chat offering a million EC for sleigh bells or such! Come on. Push some buttons. Chase some snowmen. Have fun. Every once in a…
I live way up in the mountains and have to use satellite. I therefore have Wildblue/Exede with a 10gig monthly cap. Last month STO Gameclient used 4gig in one day, mostly uploading. I have no idea what the heck it could have been uploading. I downloaded NetBalancer for free and set a 500k download speed cap and 30k upload…
