• I just checked some other stats and it would seem that the 5th module does indeed negate the "1 of each type" bonus, as I lose the HP bonus as well.

• I'd argue that they should just do away with the separate outfit pieces for Captains and Boffs. Let people play Space-Barbie however they want.
