That's not actually what I was saying. My point was that they can't be a corporation of faceless nobodies. If they want the community to trust them, they have to let the community get to know them, and that doesn't happen on forums (nor does it happen on Facebook or Twitter). The problem isn't so much that they're…
Which doesn't matter since I'm going to play that new content in a week or two. Most of the time they reiterate information that's already available. These are completely worthless and a waste of time for everyone involved. Many times there's no context for this information. A random screenshot of some graphical ship tweak…
The analogy is flawed. Let's say you take a swig of Mountain Dew and say "This is pretty good, except I don't like how there are dead bugs in it." and the response is "We hear your complaint about the dead bugs, but we're going to redesign the label first and then market it to other countries. We want to get to the dead…
I agree that there's not much mystery in why the devs post so infrequently. The forums are a relatively hostile environment for them, and I can't really say that I'd visit the forums very often if I were a Dev. Actually, I rarely come to the forums as a player simply because the majority of stuff here is tirades and…
As far as episodes go, I felt it was one of the better written ones. You don't have to write a masterpiece to fit in with the quality of this game.. and at least they're trying.
The main problem I can see is that there is barely any new content in the game with this new season. No new "adventure zone", 3 STF's and one new featured episode? That's a bit light. People need content to play through.
Yeah, that would make sense, but the most recent Boff I got (the romulan liberated borg officer) is neither the first nor the last on the list. Shes in the middle, and not alphabetical.
I'm really, really hoping that this is not the *only* new content provided as part of the new season. This game desperately needs more mission content, having only gotten 2 new missions in the last year.
It doesn't really matter what they call it. It was a standard 3 month content update with that new content consisting of one lone mission. It's a great mission, I like it.. but there's just one. Could they have made more if they wanted to? Absolutely. They specifically chose not to do so.. maybe they thought the equipment…
Well, maybe.. I mean, I'm a pretty ordinary joe. I don't mind paying up occasionally for new ships or equipment, etc. but I'm not going to be repeating this mission over and over. I don't really care about the dyson ships or the new consoles.. but even if I did, I'd replay it 3 times and then I'd be done. This isn't making…
I mean, I was kind of expecting a mission.. or a cutscene.. or something a little bit more than yet another "Transwarp to sphere allied space" that I already have 4 of and an accolade. Not gonna lie.. I was a little bit disappointed.
Wow, okay, I think we've moved slightly off topic here. I know that people RP privately. I'm not interested in joining in on that. I just want a public RP place I can hang out and see what people are up to. Sure, Drozana wasn't hardcore RP or anything, but people hung out there and were in-character.
It's not so annoying for me.. but what I don't get is the communication: Okay.. fine. No patch notes.. so why am I being patched? If you're making infrastructure changes, how does that affect my client? I can see maybe changing server addresses or something.. but 135MB seems a bit large for that.
What a shame, it would be an excellent way to get fed captains to shell out zen for romulan tailor options! You know, if you're into that sort of thing
You'll probably get less fallout from maintenance if you were just to book every day from 7-9... make it a regular thing, since it is a regular thing. The other alternative is to wait until your fix is actually ready and just implement it all at once.
