I usually have the opposite problem. I often get killed with 75% shields left due to bleed-through damage. It hits my engineer captains hardest, since their only health heal option is the medical generator. (And if the enemy triggers an AoE you have to run from your only source of health regen.)
Admiralty is IMO the best source of dilithium. Assuming that you have a lot of ships, for basically no effort, you can get anywhere between 4000-6000 a day, per character. Not quite the daily refinement limit, but definitely a sizable chunk of it.
The Tzenkethi aren't any stronger than other enemies on paper. In practice, their shield strength (and heavy fore weapons) gimmick invalidates certain styles of play. (I think their side shields are slightly stronger than average, and their rear shield is a lot stronger, while their fore shield is a lot weaker.)…
In all seriousness, wasn't there already an episode in Voyager that dealt with a people that sends their dead/dying through a wormhole/something to an asteroid field? Why didn't the Kobali set up there? I'm pretty sure that those people would have viewed the Kobali's rebirth as the new life or whatever part of their…
Here's my understanding of why lobi is now valuable: To start with an Earth example, diamonds are basically worthless and very common. The only reason they are so expensive is because one company owns a monopoly on them. This allows them to restrict how many diamonds are in circulation, thus fixing the price. Most likely,…
Really? The only shuttle I ever managed to defeat it with was the delta flier. Though you need pretty good gear to do so. Otherwise, you aren't supposed to engage it, unless to draw it away from the door.
I haven't seen them doing anything like that. But I would also like to see stats for them to see why they're so powerful. The pair doing a single strafing run can almost kill an NPC battleship on normal. (Full shields and health to 1 shield facing down and 10-20% hp.)
"Social" as in communicate with other firsts and share vital intel/reports/etc. Honestly, how much social interaction actually goes on in the other hubs? (I haven't had zone/local chat enabled in years.) There's also other vital functions that happen at starbases/etc. that the Jem'Hadar would need to perform. Restock on…
Anyone that's been playing since before the reputation system came out will tell you that the push for guaranteed rewards was huge. There were people who played the STFs dozens of times and didn't get a single special reward token. There were also people that got them on their first try. It was aggravating to say the least.
The Dreadnought Cruiser has a Lt. Commander eng/command seat. As for the poor BOff layouts, it's my suspicion that that's the trade-off for the wingmen feature.
I would hardly call that a trade-off. At worst, they're slightly worse frigate pets (longer cool-down?) that are just tacked onto the Vanguard ships, which are themselves decent ships.
I think that the choice of specializations is odd. I think the carrier should have command, the dreadnought cruiser should have miracle worker, and the warship should have intel.
I think Vorta should be included, but as BOffs only. They should also have traits that discourage their use as away team officers. In all honesty, It's fine if they don't add Vorta, because they can be pretty easily made in the alien gen. Changelings don't make any sense for them to be included. Not only did we only ever…
Wasn't that essentially what happened at the end of the Kobali missions? The alliance pressured the Kobali to release the Vaadwaur (though as an offer to the Vaadwaur for a ceasefire) and only turn willing people into Kobali.
To my knowledge, every time a pack with ships like this has come out, they've become available (or were at day 1 of the pack's release) on the C-Store. Examples I can remember: The delta expansion pack included all the intel ships (and a few others) which are all available on the C-Store. The Agents of Yesterday pack came…
The first three KDF missions are not repeatable. If this is unintended, then yes, it is a bug. Yes, the second mission "The Hunt Is On" does have a delta recruit objective in it, which will prevent retries at getting this objective. Given that it's a KDF *exclusive* bug, I suspect a fix will come... never.
