Wonder if the data analysts said "Gee, no-one bought the Yet More Baseball Shirts last year." and concluded "no-one is interested in costumes!" rather than "maybe people would like Anything Other Than Baseball Shirts".
Not sure if someone mentioned it in all the various comments, but - I really hope you're taking time for the Winter Event, because FREE SHIP. There's three free event ships every year (anniversary, summer, winter) and they're not always right for your playstyle, but they're not weak (they have 11 console slots as opposed…
When I run a new ship, I stick it's gear/etc on it, save the loadout to "default", and almost never pay attention to it again. Barely notice it's there. /shrug
I don't necessarily need 'new activities', I enjoy the ones we have just fine. But the selection of prizes (more &%$#*! baseball uniforms, winter freeze powers, that ship) just aren't anything I want to earn. So no need to do any of those activities. So no need to log in to do them. (I've got lots of Admiralty cards, so I…
Plus, with Flying High, you don't get disqualified for going outside the 'track'. So it's a lot less difficult for people with bad connections/etc, compared to the Winter ice race. No having to restart multiple times.
Well, I mean - Star Trek is the only reason I came here in the first place. I certainly wasn't thinking "gee, I really want to play a space fleet/capital ship MMO". /shrug So, sure - if it weren't for the Star Trek IP I wouldn't "still be here"... because I never would have been here to begin with. /shrug
This honestly feels like a "jumped the shark" moment. They came up with something worse than those Discovery "multiple disconnected parts" ships. Or the Ent-J. Like those f2p fantasy MMOs that add an anachronistic cop car as a mount. /sigh Ah, well. Different people, different opinions. /shrug If the clothing options are…
...this feels like the first holiday ship that I really don't want to ever fly. So why bother getting it. Great. Big. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? <picardWTF.gif> So confused.
Some silly ground set, some console that does some odd niche thing, or whatever-the-hell-that-is? What exactly am I supposed to "fear" missing out on? (disclaimer: I've done very few "events" outside the Summer/Winter/Anniversary, for years now. Almost none of this stuff seemed worth the tedium of doing the same TFO 14…
Well, it's not white anymore. But even on the new forum page (with the formatting somewhat correct), it's an unreadable mess. It's not just me, right? I think this might be the worst forum design & layout I've ever seen. WTF
I have trouble with the idea it was done intentionally. Not because of the "Oh, god, white!" part. But because of how all those quick links/etc at the bottom of the page take up such a huge amount of wasted space. It's like all the page formatting got nuked or some kind of html error, not an actual "design". edit: ah, I…
It's really much more dependent on making a good build and knowing how to use it. (as the previous posts have demonstrated) Now, it might be that Tac can do better with a bad build. Or that it's easier to make an okay build with it (don't know about that one, I'm no build guru). So that might be the source of people saying…
All the other rep stuff is character-locked, too. So why would modules be any different. Rep stuff is for the character that unlocked it. Of course, you also said this: ...so I know that you have completely unrealistic expectations. Why would any game do that? I've certainly never seen it.
On the way to/from the holosuites, or fleeing said holosuites during an attack/red alert/etc. Or after Q decided to snap them into one, because he thought it'd be funny. o:)
Hmm... Criss Cross Halter, Sling Halter, Mini-T, Retro. I think that's all of them. They go well with the Terran shorts. (you might be able to find those on the exchange now, or you can buy them yourself from the event vendor if you have it unlocked on a character & have favors to spend. No need to wait for the Summer…
