The show is terrible... most people who watch it are star trek fans already and are happy to suffer just because its a new star trek show (the only reason i watch it at this point is its on netflix and nothing else is out on monday!) but honestly I don't see it drawing in new people to the franchise its just that bad...

The only hope for KDF is if they find a way to make it so we can cross faction team and enter each other zones with the fed/kdf alliance in the story they could do it, bring down the walls that separate the factions and encourage people to play KDF by offering them more than a handful of ships.

Don't hold your breath they really don't like to touching PVP its got a very small player base I think they have done what 1 or 2 updates to PVP since the game was released 7 years ago.

As others had said the DPS League one is the program to use if your into that sort of thing personally I'm in the camp that the DPS meta of the end game is what ruined STO, fly what ever is fun personally I like doing themed builds.

Cryptic make their money from lock boxes this system would impact those sales and would not bring anywhere near the same revenue sadly so it will never happen.

Kind of a let down we are getting nothing new or special to mark the event not even a special title which would not of been hard to add... But I guess all their time went into the discovery uniforms two things to celebrate in one month is hard for them these days.

Even if internally the Dev's all agree the new UI sucks and should be removed they will not do anything about it as they would never want to publicly admit they made a mistake.

I always find it strange that in the future when we have view screens we still design our ships with the bridge location being visible externally and thus giving the ship one massive weak spot to target...

Playstation Plus costs monthly but thats just like xbox gold and has nothing to do with STO I dont even think its needed to play STO online, Only subscription type thing on the consoles is the lifetime package which in my opinion is not really worth it on the console unless its on sale.

PS4 Doesn't have a monthly sub I play on the PS4 and its the same as Xbox, why did you want to sub? most of the reasons for subbing on the PC you get for free on the console anyway you dont even have an EC Cap like on the PC.

The thing with the console version is it has most the content already there they have just disabled it and hidden it away and are slowly patching it in as so called updates, so any changes fixes would get done for PC first so they could then patch it to consoles.

With out them you have nothing to grind for and its a f2p game got to keep adding to that grind.

Cryptic have never defined STO's Anniversary by platform its also been based on the date the game launched so if you want to look at things in a black and white kinda way then the Anniversary will be at the same time on all versions of the game until Cryptic say other wise that's just common sense right?.
