Can we finally admit that STO has jumped the shark? Seriously - the Voth don't acknowledge their dinosaur heritage, so why do they have dinosaurs with lasers?
They didn't "add" those ships. They were there since launch. They just took them away for a very long time because they hate Klingon players. As to the OP, Feds don't need any more ships. They already have more than the Rommies and KDF COMBINED.
Uhh, that was Champions. Champions Online was the Cryptic MMO being developed for the 360, with the 360 plans being scrapped because MS wanted part of the sub fee. It's true, now, that since the games are free to play, THAT roadblock is clear, but STO was definitely NOT developed with a controller in mind. Getting…
I didn't say "equal share." I said "a fair shake." In no way has the KDF faction been given anything more than a token glance as far as dev resources in this game. DStahl himself has acted in this very forum as though KDF players should be GROVELLING AT HIS FEET in absolute adoration over the tablescraps that have been…
Until we see a list of EXACTLY EVERYTHING KDF players are getting, I'm personally going with the idea that they get nothing. That's been Cryptic's style since before launch, so there's no reason to expect different.
Do you really think that any of that makes the general lack of KDF-specific content, the more difficult leveling path, the generally crappier ships, the lack of customization of both ships and characters, the absolute need to buy half the stuff you list on the C-store AND the straight-up lying done by Cryptic about the KDF…
To be fair, he's said there are several KDF missions coming a LOT since taking over this game. He's made it clear that his definition of "several KDF missions" is quite different than KDF players' definition.
