I'm in no position to run a fleet, I'm just far to busy in real life. However I do have an old fleet that friends and I used to run. I could add you but for the time being it'd just be you and me. With some tweaks to the name and fleet uniform I could easily convert it into a TOS era theme.

However STO is different from WoW in the fact that the romulans have a totaly independent story and mission progression then any of the other factions. So I made a Romulan to unlock my Reman race and the name came out as InvalidName something something and now I can't delete the Romulan. My Patch finished but when I go into the game it says "retrieving list of characters" then fails to log in and requests that I re-log in so yah patching isn't the only issue it would seem. I still say that the system is dealing with way more people then anticipated (which is good for the game, but not for launch days).

I never said it was the users fault. I just said that there are more people than the system can handle. Weather or not Cryptic anticipated such a massive response to the expansion is debatable and only they would know.

I don't think there is anything they can do if people are pushing the patch server beyond it's intended capacity. As people patch and get through the times will get less extreme. I did restart my patcher a few times and it did help a bit. I don't know if that is because there are less people now or just because I got a…

I think it's an issue with so many people trying to download at once. The server is probably over taxed at this point.

Thanks for the link, yah I was hinging most of my choice on the races but since there are other ways to get them I may hold back on that and just wait for the c-store unlock or perhaps even T5 rom faction.

You're forgetting that since F2P they've added whole new methods of playing. We now have Fleet Stations, New adventure zones including the Tholian planet and now New Romulus. It's been a problem that has been ignored since launch. Their just isn't enough clothing options for KDF officers. It makes me upset to see how much Fed options their are compared to KDF.
