I check back every few months to see how the game is doing, with just a faint hope that something might have made PvP alive again. The only thing that would bring me back to this game is a total revamp of PvP, which will realistically will never happen though. Just makes me think we should start a new Star Trek mmo :p

Think of it more as a necessary evil. But I don't think a2b needs to go completely.

I think space traits shouldn't stack, and that the pool for space traits be more universal. No more only humans with leadership or Saurians with efficient. Also no more Romulan only Operative.

I don't think this will be too bad actually, they indicated they would balance it further. Although how they plan to keep it buffed for PvE and not OP for PvP I don't know.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration to say that this ship is an example of the game going downhill. The model and texture are both based off of what was shown in the show. Take your rant to the general forums, and keep this thread for discussing the PvP nature of the ship.

Replying because I just encountered the exact same problem. I dismissed all the DOFFs and deleted the Bajoran weapons. When I try to reclaim them from the Z store I get, "You already have this item in your inventory". Will I be able to claim this later? EDIT: I got it all back by changing maps, but still can't use them.…

How about the 'Shaved Hawk' option for Romulans, seeing as about half of our NPCs use it, and it's even teased by the Romulan Klingon on the ally select screen.

As I said, I had survivability in mind. And on paper at least, an elite fleet fermion deflector provides good buffs to healing, not to mention the helpful Sci cool down mod, combined with a tank engine seems like it should be superior to the borg 2 piece.

So it is just the newer lockbox weapons that are account bound. I don't see any reason why older lockbox weapons shouldn't be updated, then.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't consider whether this was a bug or not. Some sort of response from Cryptic would be desirable to clear things up, though.

What do you guys think of the Romulan engine that gives a bonus to starship attack patterns? On my fleet Mogai, would it be worth using them, and then the two piece Omega deflector + shield, rather than the traditional 2 piece deflector + engines and fleet shield?

I have a question for Drunk, How come in your build for the excelsior, you suggest the Omega 2 piece set, but for the regent you only suggest the borg 2 piece set? I understand the benefits of both, but I'm curious as to which is generally superior on a beamboat, or on a battlecruiser.

Personally my favourite has to be Babylon 5. I'd recommend sticking to that OP. Great lore, great themes, great characters and character depth, and loads of great episodes.
