That Is fine, to use it for both, but the need to have high Drain Exp, is where it should be noticed. But even for a drainer the console was OP. At 629 Drain exp you get 6.2 per activation, At 100 Drain exp you get 2.2 per activation So even without high drain exp the console was use for people trying cap a power system.…
The lack of sci knowledge on the forums is just a amazing. Tyken Rifts is viable on Holodeck, and well be even more so on the upcoming changes. As for the only makes sense on a dedicated drain build, well yes because it is a drain ability, and should only make sense on a drain build, As the GW only makes sense on a high…
You still get a power back, but capped at 6 per sub system, which IMO is fine and fair. Perhaps tho, if you need more power in a sub system I heard the engi console that provide bonus power have been buffed, perhaps those should be looked at.
Funny you say this, because the console it is self is a drain console for, i dont know, a drain build. If you wish you use said console in a none drain build, well then I suppose you shouldn't get a huge impact from it. I as a drainer like this change, and also see on tribble that the "drain" is still good. So what if I…
Well I will agree with you about "flying out" of a rift on holodeck right now, but it is not extreme. My rift does -26 drain per second, so it takes 3 to 4 sec of enough drain to kill the engines on most npcs so they do stay on my rift. That said the change to rift is for the better. On tribble I get -77 drain on right…
As a sci player all these changes are welcome The only one that is odd is the loss of sub nuke, but hey you give some you take some. These balance changes are a huge step in the right direction, next up is AI rework please
Like you said its a console for drainers, thus this fix for the leech is very welcome and needed. if you what the full power of the leech then be a drainer.
all his "Yay Hype" for JJ stuff just confirms my belief that "true" trek fans, the ones who understand what trek represents and what it stands for are the great minority in this game, and their numbers are getting smaller. JJ is not trek, is not cannon nor does the story make any sense in any way, yet more people who play…
Wait "Most prize entries will reward the key-user with an Infinity Prize Pack for whichever prize entry they won. Infinity Prize Packs are bound to the person that won them" So these prize pack are Bound therefore is you win the t6 ship it is bound, you cant sell? But when you chose the ship that you can sell?
During this run, and like many times on holodeck, it is not about team work. On tribble testing new mechiancs mainly the "BUG: Strengthened Strengths / Resistible Resists (Fixed on Tribble: 3/3)" We had one guy get an afk penalty, for his tray was not set up. Another guy who did not have traits set, for he did not know…
@borticuscryptic ty. I see that now. I was under the impression that debuffs would have a negative diminishing return capped at -75, and buffs would have a cruve in term of damage instead of a linear line. But after running a few ques on tribble I see this is not case. Holo and tribble are the same. "This is a big deal. It…
sigh, you just dont get it. I can do Advanced and elite with out high dps build (expect for hive elite). I am just tried of queing and having some 50k, 75k ,100k dps builds coming blowing up everything before I can fire anything. Like why should I even move in a mission if one guy can solo/carry the whole mission in 2mins.…
just run a ISA, one guy got 107k dps. AI was debuffed to past -200. Felt the same, like nothing changed. Dont think the "strengthening strengths and resisting resist changes" did anything. Was hoping the new skill revamp did something about bfaw, plasma explosion builds.
@borticuscryptic Could you explain this alittle more. Does this mean we can not stack debuffs to the point where you could apply plus -100 or more on something?
