After I made my OP I just didn't bother with trying to get back into the game for about 10, maybe 15 minutes. Then logged back in, selected the character I'd left in Sector Space and the game behaved itself! Damn typical I guess, I put up with the "Server not responding....." messages for a couple hours, finally got fed up…

Just recently started a Romulan allied with the KDF and was very disappointed to find that I can't purchase any of the Lobi KDF specific costumes. :(

I recall that there have been problems with the Ship Customization colour selection previously (sometime last year iirc), unless this is simply the same problem that was either never fixed or has somehow managed to return once again.

While it's nice to see someone at Cryptic take responsibility for an error it would also be nice to see some indication as to whether a fix is actively being worked on or whether it has simply been added to the list of bugs that will never actually be fixed? :(

Maybe if you'd taken a little extra time to actually read the thread first you'd know that not only are Cryptic aware of this CTD issue but they've also been able to find the cause (thanks to information posted in this very thread) and are working on getting a fix patched into the game as soon as they can! :rolleyes:

Some more info might help others to help you! Did you receive the hail to report to the Admiral at New Romulus? It should have automatically appeared when you reached level 20. There's a fix for the CTD at tailor's incoming, unfortunately there's been no mention as to when.

I guess you now exceed the new 300 mail limit? From what I've read in other threads this new system shows your oldest mails first, so you'll need to start deleting mails. Might also be worth considering investing in some Account Shared Bank Slots.

This is how I "fixed" my STO launcher not showing on my desktop. For me the launcher was offscreen to the lower right, once I'd moved it enough to be able to see it I just clicked on the launcher's title bar and then dragged the launcher back to the centre of my screen.

Thanks for letting everyone know that you've been able to find and fix this particular problem. At least that's one nasty bug that's going to be fixed soon, gives me hope that maybe some others will get fixed sometime.

Those phantom EC charges are just plain stupid and certainly don't make any sense! I have the same problem with the San Francisco bridge, which is from the Sovereign Bridge Pack that includes the Zimmerman and Eaves bridges. If both the San Francisco and Eaves bridges have the same problem with Bridge Officers sitting on the floor just in front of the chair they should be sitting in, I'll take a guess…

STO converted to F2P in January 2012 which means that, as noted by futurepastnow, a "coupla years" ago there was no Energy Credit Cap Increase to purchase. I suspect you'll need to be somewhat more accurate regarding the dates about when you purchased the Energy Credit Cap Increase and the Gold Subscription.

Having read this I checked on the "My Account" link at the top of the page and I got a blank page. I'm using Firefox 23.0.1 with Java and Flash up-to-date. I checked the main PWE site which worked fine and I was able to check my PWE account from that site. I then tried the "My Account" link at the top of the STO page again…

I agree that this issue is frustrating and annoying, as are all the other numerous issues that are currently having a very negative effect on the game-play experience. All we can really do is hope that Cryptic are aware of all these issues and are working on getting them fixed.

There is a "known" problem regarding visiting the Tailor and getting a CTD when attempting to select a Bridge Officer. There are a number of other threads regarding this particular issue already in case you wish to look for further information.

I've tried changing every pattern as well as the material, it made zero difference, whatever colour choices I make they just don't display.
