That's good. I still reckon that the fleets that form for the camaraderie (excluding the bank fleets for single individuals. I've got one on each faction myself), are going to be the strongest ones, and any kind of safeguards against "absent dictators" or what have you is just going to backfire. Well intentioned, organized…
no idea what fleet they would be in, but obviously it isn't the black watch or stonewall. both are awesome fleets. yeah, any responsible fleets don't need that auto promote thing, they just pass the torch if the leader has real life stuff going on that precludes game play. If someone got auto promoted, then that's not a…
meh, that's like saying "don't eat yellow snow".They say they "don't want you to". It's free to play, realistically; they know players will anyway. Hell, brandon probably does too.
just as long as there's no audio. last thing we need is to hear a bunch of stressed out IT guys cursing and swearing. lol. seriously, I think the gaming community puts the stress on them a lot. :)
They had insane server issues when free to play first came out, then season six, and also season seven. Just like almost every other mmorpg that's out there. I bought a lifetime sub, and I still don't regret either it or any other cash I paid into this game. To me, it was definitely worth paying. Que times, well; every…
yeah. pleasantly surprised at the lack of kvetching myself. Mostly, I read the forums for a cheap laugh to kill time during maintenance. Or play bubble witch saga. All smartassery aside, I love this game.
this really makes me kinda sad. Every time I can't log on during weekends, it makes me realize how little I actually get out. I need the escapism of this addictive game so that I don't go insane with boredom. Damn... No plans on this getting a life anytime soon. Well, I guess it's back to thinking up my own religion to…
Yep. I think each user only sees their own qualms, and doesn't see it from cryptic's end. IE being overwhelmed by the sheer number of things to do and wondering where to start or whether to wind their TRIBBLE or wipe their watch... that would not be my dream job.
If CBS EVER pulls this game/ the rights to it, I hope that their stocks plummet and that a share in CBS is as worth as much as a sheet of TOILET PAPER. (The really cheap kimberly clark kind that's in public bathrooms everywhere...)
Open to abuse indeed. People starting abusing it in WoW the minute it became an option based on "I don't like them". Some people are just abusive anyway, and would abuse ANY system implemented. MMOs are fraught with over priveleged teens, children and adults with less maturity than the other two groups. Hell, society…
He's the community manager, not the dev team. He tries to keep the players and developers from killing each other i think. Basically, all joking aside, keeps the devs in the loop about our stuff, and us in the loop about the devs stuff...
while essentially, I agree with you, I doubt the "head developer" whose name i will not mention here is inclined to return them. Personally, I stopped doing officer reports as I have 20+ toons, and it is unrealistic to be able to do them on all of my characters now. thanks, cryptic.
It could be worse. We could be forced to pay 16 a month and get screwed over. Yeah. Blizzard does that to it's customers. While a lot of changes I'm not happy about, meh... At least it's a free to play game. And lifers still get the monthly zen at least.
