Thank You again for the help, but that would be way to much bs to deal with. I should have a made a email account for STO, instead of using an established one. It's not that big of deal of though, and I wont make this mistake again. Thanks Again, Glass
I assume this is directed at me? So first what 350,000 people are you referring to? Dam sure isn't that many people playing this game. And I have made "constructive suggestions" all over this forum. And your right this isn't a humanitarian crisis, and I'm in no way implying that is. I'm just not willing to roll over and…
Ok making a liar out of myself again, but this post appeared while I was reading another and I feel I have to respond. Maxvitor I have to ask, have you re-read what you just wrote? I understand you love Star Trek that's obvious, but your response is a lot like what you would expect from a with person with Stockholm…
You know what, I lied. I don't think this is the most effective way to get Cryptic's attention, I think not logging at all is the most effective way. I just thought this might me easier for most people to do. Ok- I'm off for awhile I just needed to get that off my chest. -Glass
You too may be right, and I agree it's the "Whales" that have the most influence right now and I think if we convince enough of them and non-whales to stop paying Cryptic for abusing us we could get the changes or at least some of the changes the community is screaming for right now. Hell if I knew of a one shot solution…
But they won't have to change their organizational culture, simply restoring the xp, hp, rewards and other values they have changed since Delta Rising would make 90% of the player feel like they've won the lottery.
Yah I'm with you on everything you've said. That's why I said I don't know how convince others esp the ones who never come here. Maybe a Zone Chat campaign? I don't know, but I've learned there are some very intelligent people that do visit the forums and I'm hoping some of them will have ideas.
Like janus1975 I and I'm sure many others aren't logging into the game until changes are made. I really hate it to, I lived in the STF Ques pugged all the time, literally I friggin lived in the ques because I found them to be more fun than repeating story content and watching loading bars all the time. Although since day…
What great idea's! I own 2 Suliban Cell ships myself and pre 9.5 I used to really enjoy jumping on the trade channels and giving bridge invites. It was one of the few times where I felt I could help people and in return I made friends. As has been said their usefulness has been dwindled down to almost nothing beyond…
To paraphrase janus1975 http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=20832571&postcount=722 I hope posting this link is not a violations of TOS or FCT, if it is I apologize in advance. "As a franchise, Star Trek is a niche. It's big enough to sometimes look like it's mainstream, but it's not. It also has a fanbase that…
I got real money that your request will implemented with the next patch or two. Like I said earlier Cryptic has been waiting for someone like to you bring up this idea. Soon we'll be paying Dil for "Docking Fee's" at all Starbases because we just can't throw enough money at them can we? I honestly feel bad for attacking…
You bring up a valid point, however you cannot deny that having people in there new Delta Quadrant doesn't improve their "metrics". Thereby enabling them to also prove (to some degree) to their higher ups that this is expansion is "successful". Although the money may or may not be flowing in like expected, I'm sure they…
Sry to see ya go, but fully understand your reasons for leaving. It's strange but your leaving and others like you may change the game for the better. I don't mean that to sound bad, but when enough players leave, quit spending, or only log for 5min a day the people at Cryptic will be forced into making the changes the…
Oh that is perfect!! Dam I'm still laughing! No no wait I feel deep sadness coming on...oh no that wasn't fiction...it was...REALITY!! Flat out sad when the forums are more entertaining than the game is.
I agree with what you are saying and have added the F2P tag to my sig as well, however I think a louder message is sent by simply not logging into the game at all until significant changes are made. I could be wrong, but it seems to me any player online (paying or not) is contributing to Cryptic. But I admit I'm a…

Ok well I believe you. I have a different take on the situation, I feel that your suggestion is simply giving up, a way of telling of Cryptic they can treat the players any way they want, that we won't fight back instead we'll pay. Me I'll take the other route, I will not log into this game again until positive changes…
Thank You Gulberat for creating this thread. I for one will not be logging into STO anytime soon since I feel that even logging to start the R&D dailies is a way of telling Cryptic I support or approve of their actions and the changes they have made. However I will be keeping an eye on this thread so I can stay informed on…
I don't think the OP is serious. Or the OP isn't quite right the noodle. It just seems crazy to me to reward these people for essentially kicking us in the private parts. Are you really suggesting that people should give into this madness and buy their way out of it? Because if you are...where do you see that ending? Or…
Counter question: Why do you feel it should take longer? It's in most humans nature to want to be as good as they can be at every thing they do. If we didn't have this engrained in us we'd probably still be living in caves. And here it simply shouldn't matter if you can (like pre DR) go from 0-50 in a weeks time, if you…
