  • I've also had problems in game after upgrading my pc. It seems the game doesn't like my new 7800 x3d. I tried narrowing down the issue by "/fpsgraph 1'" and could see a lot of frame spikes. Found a reddit post where the author figured out it had to do with cpu parking in 'newer' cpus:…

  • Applying a token to your Bridge Officer will instantly add: [...] 1 Kit Frame Slot 1 Person Ground Trait Slot So will we be able to Slot whole Kit Frames or is it simply another active ability slot? Are these "Person Ground Trait Slots" configurable, like the Ship Trait Slots currently are? Like a captains trait slot, but…
  • Molecular Reconstruction (the configuration change) is only for ships with a commander temp seat. This ship doesn't even have a commander intel seat. Personally i'd like to see a Lt. commader temp. seat and a lt. intel seat on it. It already has some different toys and doesn't need the configuration change ability.
  • So since this ship is paired with the lobi store sale and a lot of people will be flying it i would like to bring some attention to the fact, that: The Annorax one of the prime time manipulating ships does not have a temporal officer seat. Why is that?
  • Basic Options -> Interface Scale Slider at the bottom.
  • Had the same problem:
  • I'd like the following being done: Introduce a way to increase your equipment stats by a minor percentage, that involves a failure state, where you can loose all progress you've made. Other MMOs already do it and it is a nice way to keep the economy in check. The downside ist, that most other MMOs do this with rare ingame…
  • You go to your fleet roster page in the fleet menu and click on the upper right drop-down menu. There should be an option for overall holding contribution.
  • If the prices of the supposedly misleading sale are so perfectly matched, i can very much presume that it was a deliberate attempt. Who gets hurt by it doesn't really matter to me. Someone pretty much always does. I care because i want to play the game with other people. I see it again and again in my fleet. Player…
  • Scam acutions are a thing, luckily it's not a big thing though. Take for instance the Kelvin Dreadnought and the Kelvin Dreadnought Equipment bundle. When the thing first hit the exchange you'd see sprinkles of the latter, posted together with the former. People would only read Kelvin Intel Dreadnought and look at a price…
  • Immoral ones?! :D It's a usage fee. Plain and simple. You get to use the exchange, that's what you are paying for. You could also introduce a on-sale fee which would indirectly be payed by the buyer. Meaning you'll only get 90% (for example) of your listed price, while the buyer has to pay the full price. Simply sell your…
  • * It would be an EC sink and thus keep inflation in check (at least somewhat) * It would reduce the amount auctions as a whole, because if you had to pay (say 10% of the listed price as a fee), you'd think twice if it's really worth it, putting something up for auction, since it might not be bought. * It would reduce the…
  • I was thinking on this again. If i follow my train of thought it would be better to lower the cooldown of the contraband mission and reduce the rewards accordingly. Probably in the range of 1 hour per mission, costing 1 or 2 contraband, with a range of 250 to 400 dili earned. This would put the max dili earned at 6000 to…
  • Then you're a player that plays a lot. I haven't really touched my main in about half a year, just doing events from time to time ,and he still has half a million dili left. We need to also look at the average player which doesn't play as much and has a relatively low igname income. Those are the ones that make up the…
  • Oh, it really does. You're thinking of a player with single character. My main is the same as yours with a lot of unrefined dili sitting around. The problem is people are lazy or have other priorities than 'playing the game the right way'. They want success fast, experience everything with as little effort as possible and…
  • Does this mean, that if a player is being "overkilled" (as in: is being reduced to 0 or less hp with one attack, without reching the threshold of the trait first) the trait won't trigger?
  • The very first skill tree did function very much like the one pre skill revamp. The major difference was that all weapon and ships types would be directly boosted by a specific skill. Antiproton were pretty far down the line, so a greater investment would be needed to actually use them effectively (example: Pic) They were…
  • The problem isn't solely that things get stuck in the overflow bag, but that they get duplicated too. I got multiple items now that are the once-per-character type. Something in my bank did also get duplicated. Imagine if it's a lockbox ship that's being duplicated ... If this is replicable it's borderline an exploit.
  • It doesn't come from the weapon though. The weapon would be the torp, which in turn creates another object, the cloud. That cloud does the actual damage through a plasma proc. Bort said somewhere that only direct weapon procs won't benefit from PartGens, which this isn't. The Grav torp, for example, should also scale with…
  • @borticuscryptic can you please confirm or deny that the Paradox will ever fully benefit from the Temporal Inversion Field's effect? We already have a precedence with the Sheshar and the Silent Enemy set.
  • I'm basically referring to the list in this post: Reddit Link by odenknight.
  • I wish somebody would at least acknowledge the bug or dismiss it as intended. I want to get the thing out of the box to play with it, but in full temporal gear. Also the timeship shuttles seem to be bugged. At least their AI seems to be. Any shuttle will use the disruption beam only once and never again and they don't seem…
  • @hipachilles The problem is, that nearly any torp build has at least 1 energy weapon in the mix anyways, so there's less opportunity cost involved with your suggestion, thus favoring torpedo builds more. It basically all because of the different weapons firing arcs. Torpedo builds are usually forward facing and pretty…
  • You brought up the point of choices. There are non to make, even less so in the current system. Whatever precipitates the current meta, it will not change with or without the skill tree and will leave most players without any meaningfull choice. It will just take you thrice as long ... What you could do is move away from…
  • The problem lies in the fact that this system doesn't support the enviroment. The enviroment, the content, is geared towards DPS. Consequently there exists an implicit desire to tailor your ship to do just that. If you can't make every single skill path enable your ship to do more deeps in a somewhat equal fashion (be it…
  • As you guys already stated, nothing is really lost in the skill revamp. I can pretty much replicate my old build with the new skill-tree system. But doing so leaves me in a situation where i can never reach any of the "ultimate" ablities at the end of the tree. Whereas in the old tree i would loose not much by spreading my…
  • Will the system (as a quality of life improvement) be able to simply draw from the pool of c-store ships you don't have currently commisioned? I really don't want to have to cycle through all the ships i have thrown out, just to get the system into 'working order'.
  • If that's the case then there wouldn't be a need for different layers, but maybe you're right. Could be all planets are derived from a base planet object, that has different layers, so as to make it more customizable later on.
  • Yes, it's the ground texture moving to the left. Notice the darker blob on the island? That's nearly gone in the 3rd picture. I guess somwhow the layers that should be animated got mixed up. The ocean is still and the rocky surface is sliding to the left.
