Thx, Like I said the pet seems helpful but I was having issues with it blowing up. I'll try to keep it as my focus and see if I cant manage it better. I'll also give the secondary deflector a go. On paper it looks underwhelming but it appears that it can be a significant dps boost.

I've been using the Path Finder and Aero today. The shuttle seems nice but its way to frail for a pet that takes 2 min to call out after it dies in 20 seconds. It's hull needs a buff.

I had just run into this issue with my Fleet Mogh Cruiser. Everything appears to work fine but patterns will not reflect color changes. I cannot work out what may be affecting this function. Edit: The randomization button trick did clear this bug for me. Weird. Thx for the tip on the work around.

Logged in this evening to enjoy some STO to find that I and seemingly everyone else are experiencing severe lag to include freezing and or rubber banding. Its nearly unplayable. It would be greatly appreciated if we could get this resolved. Thx

I think this may have worked for me. After replacing the launcher with this new one and doing a force verify I saw it actually throwing up files names in the patch window where previously it just said patching for a min. once you have the launcher up, near the top right corner, click options. check force verify then click ok. next, log in, at this point the launcher should appear to be patching/checking your files. this will take awhile.

The Defiant is the obvious choice as a Tac cpt but the MVAE can be a tough nut to crack if your willing to spec properly for it. I do like atleast one dual beam for BA: O as the overload yields are better. I try to avoid a dual beam-centric build on cruisers though. Even ones as agile as the regent. Boadside still the best strat w/ a cruiser imo.
