Yep, I saw it. Just pointing out the fact that while you are telling someone else to check up on something before they post, you failed to do the same thing. The fact that you admitted it after the fact doesnt change the point :)
IDK, this thread title and intent seems an awful lot like flame bait. Also, the OP's concerns relate to ships, so it seems like that should be posted in the shipyard boards.
This!!! A normal foundry mission takes at least 30 mins to complete. That is a totally fair requirement considering the fact that you get that same reward from doing 3 star cluster missions.
A couple of things: 1: if your dreaming about the game, you might be playing it too much. 2: this "special equipment' must not have been very good, or else the ships that had it wouldnt have crashed. But other than that, sure :P
The vast majority of posts on the forums are not rage, but rather valid complaints about legitimate problems with the game. For example, if you are at a party with 50 people, but 1 of them is yelling and screaming, that is the one you are more likely to remember. However, it does make it easier for the fanboys to dismiss…
The "new player experience" obviously matters, because it has to be fun enough to keep new players playing. Otherwise, they wont spend money. However, beyond that one simple point, it is meaningless. Judging a game as a new player is like judging a book by its cover. It isnt until you have played a game for several months…
Pretty much the only reason for playing foundry missions is purely entertainment, because as you mentioned you dont get rewarded enough for the time it takes.
Well, if #3 wasnt a problem, meaning they did give you a reasonable reward, then #1 might not apply. Because if you got a reasonable amount of dilithium/marks/rep from playing foundry missions, that could take the place of getting that same amount of dilithium/marks/rep from grinding.
I dont use the foundry because the reward isnt worth the amount of time it takes to get it. Also because they dont even bother to fix easy bugs like music not playing until you engage in combat. Some missions dont have combat right away, and running around in silence is boring.
