I am in support of this thread, I believe that there should be at least 3 variations of every ship in the game which come free with their respective ships.
At least with the Klingons it makes sense, they are a Warrior race afterall. Romulans however are supposed to be more 'experimental' in terms of technology.
My Scimitar Dreadnought Warbird Build (with Optimal Equipment and colour coded.) (This is an Aux2Bat Build) Fore Weapons: 5x [Romulan Plasma Dual Beam Bank Mk XII [Acc]x2]. No Torpedoes so skill points can be allocated elsewhere. Beam Banks over DHC because this ship is pretty wide and can be harder to judge the exact…
There are 3 new ships in that article. The first is the Romulan Scout Ship (Lanora class according to memory Beta). Which based upon it's size and the fact that it's crew compliment was 1-2 (according to memory alpha), is the Romulan "Captain's Yacht". To those who claim its too large, isn't the Mogai too large to be an…
Unproven, as every ship appears to have a turn rate of 3 through the gateway. It certainly turns better in the youtube vid. It also seems unlikely that the 2 piece bonus would increase the turn rate by what appears to be about 6-7.
I'm now curious as to whether or not it will have subsystem targeting like the other carriers? I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't, it can't be THAT good can it?
I'm sure with the 2 piece bonus and a tachyokinetic console it might even turn well enough for dual cannons. The turn rate in the vid was better than my D'D with it's set bonus + a tachyo. (turn of 12.8 moving with about 50 power in engines and no other buffs)
Here's a compromise, the JJ Abrams Enterprise is much larger than the original Constitution. Create a Tier 5 Vessel in the size and style of the JJA one but with enough changes to not completely rip it off. It could even include variants that resemble the older styles of Constitution. Say in its description that it is a…
