I am perfectly at ease with T-Rexes in battle armor and giant battle-mechs to do battle with. They are awesome. And considering this is a franchise that had space jellyfish, the acid plant planet, and fake vomit toys that induce insanity, this is tame. Oh, and the alien possessing ghost of Jack the Ripper.

I like it. It's something different. I like having a bit of a chunky, blocky option, that looks more like a warship. It sort of reminds me of something out Battlestar Galactica or Stargate SG-1, and I'm perfectly okay with that. If you want elegant curves, there's billions (exaggerated) of perfectly good options available.
