It says it's supposed to be able to be claimed in the ship vendor, but I checked the z-store, dil reclaim tab, event reclaim window, all that. Can't find it anywhere.
Same here. The main reason I don't collect more pets is because they take up valuable inventory space. As someone who likes to collect unique items, I can't afford to keep pets around and risk not having space for some shiny new weapon.
I have the Elite Kelvin Drones, and I've heard good things about them. However, I also know that the Elite Mesh Weavers are pretty badass. My question is then, are the Kelvin drones or meshies better pets, and does that pet make their respective ship worth using more than the other?
I had that same thought, and the only reason I'm replying to this thread is to lend some support to that hypothesis. I have this sinking feeling that this poor fellow's account has been hijacked, and having stripped it bare, the thief is now trying to utterly destroy the account.
First of all, get rid of the turrets and replace them with beams of the same energy type, then replace your tactical console slots with consoles that boost your chosen energy type.
If anyone has played Neverwinter, also by Cryptic, I have a feeling that STO's new crafting system will resemble Neverwinters, especially where the article mentions that crafting materials will have it's own tab.
"I propose that we even consider sharing these advances with the Republic and the Empire," That was my favorite line of the post. I love that the war between the Federation and Klingons is over. Growing up with TNG, it always seemed stupid to me when the two fought, and a war between the two factions as the basis for the…
I'm not a fan of how they screwed with the Reputation traits either, but I just gotta learn to adapt. I play STO because I like flying spaceships. I mean come on, how cool is that? Okay so it takes a few more seconds now to kill elite cubes, but I can handle it. I've finished everything in the game that I can think of, and…
Of course it was the ****ing PvP players that caused all the damn nerfs in the game. Nobody in their right mind that plays PvE would complain about being able to kill enemies too easily. Cryptic is adding all this balance **** to shut up both the PvP players that spend obscene amounts of money, and the noobs that don't…
I didn't occur to me that the Tal Shiar might be imitating the Iconians. They don't really seem to have the resources anymore to do high-end sneaky **** since the destruction of Romulus and the birth of the Romulan Republic. If it is the Tal Shiar behind all this TRIBBLE, then it might make some sense. They seem to have…
I'll just leave this here for you folks. Are we sure that was an Iconian? If so, are we sure those Klingons she killed are dead? Ooooooh spooooky. Perhaps we need a legendary Captain to pull our heads out of our asses. Again http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Devil%27s_Due
I don't really have all that much to add, just that it's a very well thought out post. I wonder if the Romulans will really merge with the Vulcans though. With the rise of the Romulan Republic, it seems to me that they'll remain an independent faction, at least for a time. With D'Tan's claim that the Republic has left…
I really hate grinding for 2 weeks for a ship I wouldn't want if I didn't have OCD. I don't even like science ships, but I'm going to be forced to get the ship or go mad as my OCD yells at me.
Well I've played most of the game by myself anyway. The only time I play with other players is on PvE queues. As for the size thing, sure it's huge but hard dive sizes are increasing all the time. By the time a single player version might come out, who's to say that 1 or 2 tb games won't already be common?
Well my point overall is that when STO does reach the end of it's life, it would be nice if Cryptic allowed us to save our character data and maybe convert the game into a single player game, as some have suggested. How many of you can honestly say you wouldn't buy a STO single player game?
Oh yea, I mean I've experienced the exact same thing. Ironically enough it was because I couldn't buy Zen. You'd think they'd be as helpful as possible to get my money, but both PWE and the zen provider gave me generic TRIBBLE answers, then proceeded to blame each other, then just stopped answering me. In the end, I just…
I can see him having to endure yet another redirect loop cuz he doesn't have his old email. "I don't have my old email account. I need to change my email on this account." "Okay sir, we'll send you an email, telling you how to change your email." "But I don't have my old email account. I need to change it." "I see. Well in…
Y'know, I'm going to be very upset if these stupid threads keep popping up and the game actually does die. Shut the hell up and just play the stupid game. If you don't like it, leave Cryptic your wallet and go play with your sexy elf on WoW.
