My Vulcan female is having the same clipping issues. It's in the shoulders when still and appears in the elbows as I run.

My traits are fine it's just that I needed to get the right skills on my bridge officers. On my science officers they were pretty good with default skills. I retrained my engineer and science officers to give me better healing returns. This has helped massively.
