I myself don't let the admiral ranking bother me. I am a RPer and in my bio sheet I have it clearly state that my character is Captain rank and I use the title as well so no harm done. If they would change the ranks, perhaps just make it lv 1-50 and have the rankings as titles only. The title of admiral would only be…

Same graphics card I use for my ASUS X401A1 laptop. Never had any issue playing STO until the recent patch. While the small fix in the yellow text above does work, can't they just revert the changes back to the original settings until they find a permanent fix?

I am having the same problems as well. Never had this until I patched the game only 30 minutes ago. It only happens when in space, didn't have any problems so far on the ground.

I was having the same problems too. Each zone I was in I tried to assign my officers but to no luck. It wasn't until I transwarped to our Fleet starbase where I managed to get it to work.

I have noticed this as well, but instead of low health, I had some actually killed on transport. Nothing that annoys me, just funny to see a corpse beamed down.

Full shields to get nailed by a torpedo and watch my crew get injured by half flying a cruiser, I begin to wonder: Who the hell put all the pots and pans on the top shelf?!?

Thank you all for the replies! Sadly the fun people at the 5th Special Operations Division sparked my interest more and sorry for those who already PMed me and the recruitment errors I brought upon. Each and every one of you looked so promising to join but the 5th were the lucky ones.

I don't mind them at all really, it's funny to run into one and launch it into other peoples faces, even had a little party at Club 47 using the balloon as a beach ball knocking it around and trying to keep it off the ground as long as possible. :D

Most likely has to do with the notice up above. I just waited a few minutes after logging off after getting that error and can get back in now.
