I'm not disagreeing with you, but all you can do is report the offender and wait for Cryptic to do something. So you can either sit on your hands and wait for a GM to act, or you can take advantage of the options I mentioned.

I obviously dont know what event inspired this thread, but I would just like to remind you that A) there are usually always multiple instances of any given social map, meaning if you are having a problem on one you can probably get away from the troll by switching and B) the foundry is great for creating social RP areas…

You should definitely have the option to grind, if you want to. You should also have the option not to grind, if you dont. Fortunately this game gives you both options, and if you choose to do something you dont want to do, you only have yourself to blame.

Mirror Universe ships look EXACTLY the same as normal ships...just with yellow paint splashed on them. That being the case, why would the interiors look so different?

That sounds incredibly unlikely. If people are going to spend money on ships, they are going to demand to be able to use them in the entire game. It would be a PR disaster.

The "best" way to earn is the way that you actually enjoy, and doesnt feel like a grind. For me that is the foundry, since every mission is different. And dilithium rewards scale based on average mission length, so you will be rewarded proportinally to your time investment.

The game is only a grind if you make it a grind. You choose what missions you do each time you log on, so if you choose to do the same one over and over again, that is your own fault, not the games. I never said they did, or did not. I'm saying that once upon a time, CBS apparently cared about things "making sense" in this game's storyline. And 4 years later, they are (hypothetically) allowing humans, Klingons, and Romulans to fly Undine bioships. Therefore, sometime in the past 4 years, they quit caring so much.

CBS said "no" 4 years ago because at that time they apparently cared that the game's story made sense. If they have in fact approve an Undine lockbox and therefore Fed/KDF/Rom players flying Undine ships(which is still unknown at this point), that is proof that their stance has changed over time. Dont worry, I wasnt being genuine. My point though is that having an Undine ship is just as crazy has having the T5 connie. So for those making excuses for for the Undine ship, they are also by extension making excuses for a T5 connie, whether they acknowledge it or not.

Except we're not talking about Superman, or any other franchise, we're taking specifically about Trek. And in Trek, the TV shows and movies are Canon, and the other things arent. That doesnt mean they are bad or worthelss or cant be enjoyed, they just arent canon. What other franchises do is completely irrelevant to Trek.

You missed my point. There was an actual reason CBS said "no", and that reason was because they thought it didnt make sense. So if they have relaxed their standards enough to the point that they now think an Undine player ship makes sense, then maybe they now think a T5 connie makes sense too. If they do make an Undine lockbox there is no longer any canon argument about having a T5 connie, since both are equally against canon.

By this logic it is now time for the T5 connie. It makes just as little sense as players flying an Undine ship.

I think I understand what you guys do, but your use of the term "content" on an MMO forum is pretty ambiguous. When most people use the term "content" in reference to MMOs they are talking about what the actual developers make(missions, various art assets, etc). Are you guys involved in the actual content creation?

Different people are just at different places in life. Some people get upset when they cant play a video game, other people just sigh and do something else until the servers are back on. The good news is, a week from now none of this will matter.
